Yeah so, its probably because hes older and has lost his ability to grip. Either that or hes dying and hes weaker. Id put something in there for him to grip onto and some paper towel to help him break his fall because they can fall and seperate their abdomens which if that happens it is fatal. Theres also this *thing* called DKS and its a disorder no one has much knowledge on. But all we know about it is that it can kill spiders and Tarantulas. Its theorized that falls and chemicals cause them to get this neurological disease that ends up fatal. It has symptoms, I'd recommend you look into it and read about it
