Lukos | Stallion | Mentions: Luna. - Lukos heard disappointment in her words, he started following her. "Isn't that what you want me to do?" He asked, his tone was soft. What if she thinks it's all I care about? Getting her home is my main priority. His chest to felt hot, gaining that feeling again, he wanted her to not think that he wanted her gone. "That's not what I meant, I want you to be where you want to be, you want to be home, don't you?" He asked, trotting to catch up with Luna, he walked side by side with her.

Luna | Herd Mare | Mentions: Lukos. "Well yes, of course I want to be back home." Luna answered his question. "I just...I don't really know if they'll even be there once we get there, you know?" She added, walking side by side with the stallion, tilting her head a bit to look at him. Yes she did feel quite homesick but.....the chances of the herd actually being there were very slim. "I honestly don't blame Shaloza and the other mares for leaving me behind. I would have probably only slowed them down and I wouldn't have met you in all honesty." She gave a weak smile before looking away from Lukos as her smile only faded from her muzzle. Edited at December 2, 2021 05:06 AM by Aspen Fire ES

Lukos | Stallion | Mentions: Luna. - "I doubt that, I think they'll still be there." He glanced in her direction, seeing her face, she was looking back at him. "I'll probably still be around, I don't go far usually, just to keep myself entertained for a while.." He looked ahead of the pair, a little twist in the creek was up ahead, getting closer slowly. His ears perked, he looked at her startled, seeing the smile on her face when she said she wouldn't have met him. "We-." He couldn't pick up words and had to pause to think about how to speak. "Well, your herd mates were probably more worried for themselves, one more gone was better then 4.. or 5?" He didn't know how to react to being.. whatever he was to her, it gave him that odd feeling back, his chest got warm again and he looked away, trying to ignore that she was happy to have met him. "I was.. just helping a few mares in need of help." He stuttered over his words, visibly confused by hee words, he could hardly speak. You idiot, can't even speak properly!

Luna | Herd Mare | Mentions: Lukos. "You're probably right, they were worried for themselves so I wouldn't blame them." She softly said. "The Herd usually moves to a new spot to avoid bachelor attacks, it's not the first time I've been taken away from my home from a Bachelor attack." She added, realizing that she spoke of the last part out on accident. She quickly tried to cover up that part of that accidental information. "U-Um forget that very last part I said." She quickly said, not giving Lukos a chance to ask her any questions as the Paint mare trotted off, breaking away with her lengthen strides but she made sure that she wasn't too far away from the stallion just incase something happens while noticing the little twist in the creek ahead of them. Lukos | Stallion - Lukos didn't have a moment to speak before she sped ahead. He knew what she meant by a bachelor attack, he didn't really mind that she was referring to both him and the band. He picked up speed and got up closer to her. "I'll still be there, if they aren't." He offered her, his suggestion of her staying with him if the herd had left, he didn't realize why he had done it, he didn't even want her really to stay, but his mind told him that he shoul, it made his think over his words, but they had been said already.

Luna | Herd Mare | Mentions: Lukos. Luna had a puzzled look on her face when she heard Lukos's words. Her light green eyes held a surprised look in them since she wasn't expecting him to say that. Does he really meant what he said? She thought, slowing herself back down to a walk beside him while looking straight ahead. "Are you sure that your actually okay with that if we don't find my herd? Wouldn't I just be a burden to you?" The Paint mare looked over to the Arabian stallion once more. Waiting for an answer from him. Deep down....she truly hopes that they don't run into a band of Bachelor Stallions on their journey back, worry settled in her thoughts for Lukos's well-being as she was placing this equine first before her ownself. Lukos | Stallion | Mentions: Luna. - "You're hardly a burden." Lukos said, she was quite peaceful to him. He had to think about how he worded his next sentence, pausing, his expression changed little. "If we don't find your herd, I'll make an exception you." Lone Bachelor, to a Pair. Hardly my idea of fun or anything close. He kept walking, he looked in front of him. The sun had been rising slowly, like a spy the sun seemed to watch them, no matter where they were. His eyes gleamed toward the water, he could see the slight limp in his reflection, he relaxed a little, the limp lessened, making him more able-bodied. If we move quicker we can find out if her herd is still there. What if it's not there? Wouldn't it be to awkward for her to stay with me? Lukos lifted his head higher, trying to make him not seem like he slightly regretted saying it, but in reality, he really didnt.

Luna | Herd Mare | Mentions: Lukos. The mare seemed quite comforted by the stallion's words, putting in a lot of naive trust into him while looking straight ahead, walking beside him. Her eyes scanned their surroundings as her body slowly began to tense a little, her ears swirled back and forth to listen out for anything out of the ordinary. She still felt fearful of another Bachelor attack happening, the Paint mare wasn't sure if it were to happen again. Her past flashed quickly in her mind of the image of her Yearling self escaping from a large stallion with a scar over his left eye. Her muscles nervously twitched, causing her to lightly shake her head to snap out of it.

Lukos | Stallion | Mentions: Luna. - He could feel her trust build in him, he thought it may have been stupid to trust him, but he trusted her, no matter how hard he may have tried not to, she was sticking with him and caring about him. "Something on your mind? You seem tense.." He looked over her, her muscled twitched lightly. What wouldn't be on her mind? A strange loner just offered to care for her if she lost her home. I must sound so.. He cut himself off, he didn't want to think about his negative thoughts at the time, it didn't seem right.

Luna | Herd Mare | Mentions: Lukos. Luna turned her head a bit to look at Lukos once more, her eyes warmly settled on the stallion. "Hm? Oh uh yes but it's nothing to worry about." The Paint mare softly said with bit of a weak smile even though in truth, it was just her past memories that were bugging her at the moment. The mare glanced over at Lukos's hip a bit before returning the eye contact again. "So, how's your hip feeling? Is it still sore?" She gently asked. Having a gut feeling that he's gonna tell her the same old answer again but she patiently waited for an answer from him. Edited at December 2, 2021 03:51 PM by Aspen Fire ES
