Rose woke the next morning and decided to grab coffee. She went in, ordered her regular, and felt a familiar prickle on the back of her neck. She turned around, saw him, remembered everything like a dam breaking, before she hurried out of the shop, coffee in hand. She started hyperventilating, climbing into her car with her head in her hands

His gaze found her, focusing more on his client who was walking in. A few moments later the client walked out devastated, Caden walking out behind them looking as though he won the lottery as he hopped into his McLaren.

Rose drove home, shaking and driving recklessly while crying

Caden went home, his greedy wishes now satisfied by destroying somebody.

4ose got home, shaking with fear at seeing him. Did he still hate her? Surely not since he gave her a car...

It was funny now, after all the time of Caden not smiling and the other person in the photo smiling--it had reversed. Usually now it was him grinning, the other person looking devastated. He started buying out buisness after buisness, doing some unholy things to build his success. A photo of him blew up, a representitive yelling at him as he rolled his eyes and leaned back in his chair. Hm, how lovely.

Rose shut off the news whenever caden's face came on, causing her to pick up extra shifts at her work. She was constantly stressed and was told often to take a break. She couldn't or else she'd break again. She still cried herself to sleep sometimes but not as often, while still going home with a new guy every weekend

Rose was told she was unable to bear children with the constant damage to herself, the news not even touching her anymore. She reached out to Caden's new girl, kylie, on social media. Sha simply sent a greeting and explained who she was

Kylie and him were walking on the street when she got the message, shoving Caden. "Why didn't you tell me?" She snapped, Caden saying he could keep things private when she stormed off, him just rolling his eyes and calling another girl who came and picked him up.
