The doctor walked in then, looking at his notes. "Well it seems you were gravely injured and will be unable to have any sort of relations with your husband in that manner for quite a bit. The skin is nearly shredded from brutality and your arms and ribs shall take weeks to heal. I advise staying here for a couple nights before going home and being on bed rest for a couple weeks"

Caden nodded, thanking him and watching as he walked out.

|
Rose was silent, unable to look Caden in the eye.

(maybe they have a falling out and he walks out on her??) Caden noticed she wouldn't look at him, wondering how he'd messed up this time. "Oh please, what'd I do this time that you can't even look at me?" He asked, years of her doing small things like this--not even looking at him, going quiet, turning away from him--threatened to spill out.

"I thought you wouldn't come for me..."

"Course you did. After every single time i've always came to your side and payed whatever no matter if that leaves me spiraling to keep up with life you don't even think i'll be there. After all this time, not a single 'thank you' or 'I appreciate you coming' or anything! And I am sick of it, you here me? Sick of it. It seems everytime I come to your rescue you never return anything to me, and i'm sick of being used for it. You wanna know why they never take me? It's because they know i'd do anything for you, which is how they always get their way. Rose I already know that if I got taken you wouldn't do anything, probably just wait for them to kill me so you could get everything for yourself. You've turned into a greedy, selfish bitch since I married you." Caden snapped, wiping his face and clearing his throat. "The divorce papers should be sent to wherever you decide to live, and your bags will be at the end of the driveway." His voice was cold as he silently walked out, slamming his car door shut and driving off.

Rose was silent, listening to him as he called her a bitch. She shook with sobs as he drove off

Caden called up his lawyer, getting it set up as he went and packed all her things.

Rose couldn't believe it...he was really kicking her out.... she called a hotel to schedule a room for a week until she could find an apartment

|
Weeks passed and Caden grew more stressed with each day, his company plastered all on the media as he plastered on a fake grin each time.
