Sage chuckled lightly as Mari bounced over to him, and felt a grin grow on his face in response to her obvious affection. He hummed happily, and wrapped his arms around her when she landed at his side. He let out an amused chuckle at her comment about him being a free man while he wasn't married and shook his head. "Nope," he chuckled lightly. "Just trying to pass the time. Should probably get an early night if we can," he hummed. Neither of them would sleep much, he didn't think. They were both much too excited.

Mari nodded in agreement to the boy, a happy smile on her face when he wrapped her arms around him... she was still buzzing. She just looked bright... happy. She pecked his neck lovingly before chuckling at the boy. "We probably should... the queen wants me up at stupid o'clock in the morning to get me ready," she told him with a small laugh. She then gave a happy hum to him. "You ready to be my husband?" She asked him with a teasing purr. She was excited... it was a small thing, their wedding... but she was thrilled about it all the same.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded with a bit of a groan in response to her comment. "I know. The doctor wants me over at his place before the sun is up," he snorted in a bit of amusement. "So I fully plan on being in bed early," he chuckled. He gave the girl a wide grin and a nod. "Of course I am," he chirped. "Think you can put up with me for the rest of your life," he asked her with a bit of a chuckle.

Mari couldn't help her slight chuckle at his comment. "Bless him... knowing you he's going to struggle to get you up that early," she told him with a small laugh. She was excited to get pampered a little bit, though... she really was. She'd always been the one doing the pampering, so the idea of having her hair done all nice and being able to get dressed up was wonderful. She couldn't wait to see Sage either. She looked to him happily after a few moments. "I'm sure I can manage to love you a bit," she told him in a joking manner.

Sage chuckled lightly and rolled his eyes. "I guess we'll see," he laughed. He was excited...but he also just didn't like waking up. He'd probably be up and ready to go, but in the moment of he may not want to actually get up. Oh well, he didn't really have a choice. And Mari would be up too, so no way was he going to sleep in. But that's alright...he didn't mind. He cuddled up against the girl happily. They'd been there for a while, and by the time they'd gotten back it was around seven in the afternoon. He certainly wouldn't mind going to bed soon. "Why don't we take a shower and then head to bed," he suggested with a light hum. They'd been working, so they should wash off before heading off to bed.

Mari hummed lightly to the boy before gasping. "Did you just roll you eyes? How very dare you," she joked lightly to him before humming thoughtfully... a shower did sound good. She curled into him happily before resting her head on his shoulder. "Yeah, a shower sounds good," she told him gently before pecking the underside of his chin. "Then I'll make some dinner... we do need to eat," she told him lightly. She was getting more and more excited about everything... their wedding, their honey moon wherever they were going, and of course her life with Sage... not much would actually change, but he'd really be hers... and she was so, so thrilled.

Sage chuckled lightly and shrugged. "Maybe," he chirped. He hummed and nodded when she agreed to a shower, glad that they would have a somewhat relaxing night. He sat up with a light grunt, nodding to her other comment. "That sounds good to me," he chirped. He'd forgotten about eating dinner....but he supposed that was probably kind of important. He held his hand out to Mari, and gently tugged her towards the bathroom happily, making sure the water was on and warm before undressing quickly and slipping into the tub. The way water was definitely relaxing, and he moved to the side so the girl could join him once she was ready.

Mari followed him into the bathroom swiftly, just wanting to get herself showered. She unchanged fairly quickly, though she caught a glance of herself in the mirror, and kind of froze when she saw the state of her scars... god, they were ugly scars. Two, right in the side of her stomach. She just stared at them for a moment or two, then forced herself to look away, crawling into the tub next to him. She'd completely healed, but the scars left aren't at all attractive... but she had to force herself to pay no mind to them. It was a shame... she'd been coming around to the idea of another child before she'd been shot, but really there wasn't much chance of that happening at all now. She let her shoulders drop once in the warmth of the shower, a soft sigh escaping her.

Sage noted the girl freezing for a moment, but he was glad that she wasn't too upset by it. It made sense....he wasn't particularly fond of his own scars, they held some bad memories for him. But at least she didn't seem too upset about it. He greeted her with a happy smile, chuckling at her sigh...the warm water did feel really good.

Mari wrapped her arms around the boy after a moment or so, another sigh escaping her as she reached behind him to grab the soap, then leaned away again, a bit of a smile crossing her face as she got a small pump of it and rubbed it between her hands, then along his chest and up his shoulders. "So you're really not going to tell me where we're going for our honeymoon?" She asked with a bit of a pout, then shook her head. "You're gonna make me anxious about it!" She told him with a chuckle.
