Sage chuckled lightly and shrugged. "Maybe not," he agreed. He let out an amused snort at her next comment though. "It would be easier to take off normal clothes," he pointed out with a twinge of amusement in his voice. "Once dressing up is more than enough for me," he chuckled. Besides, dressing up nice every day for him was impractical...he worked at a barn, and got dirty and sweaty every day. He ripped clothes like no one else too, and got into more than enough messes. Besides, they didn't exactly have the money for nicer clothes. He had some of Luther's old shirts, yes, and those were nice enough, so he was saving them for times he needed something that wasn't stained or ripped or was just a boring old t shirt.

Mari hummed softly to the boy before frowning playfully. "What if I asked you nicely to get dressed up?" She asked childishly. "Every once in a while," she hummed quietly. She wouldn't have wanted it all the time... but she certainly did like the idea of the boy all smart and dressed up. It wouldn't be useful for it to happen every day, not with his work and the amount of trouble he got into, but it would be nice all the same. "And you're going to at least keep a shirt on for me while we travel," she added with a playful pout.

Sage chuckled lightly and hummed in pretend thought. "Maybe every now and then, if you ask really, really nicely," he hummed in amusement. It wouldn't be wedding fancy, no, but he supposed he could wear a shirt that wasn't his normal old t shirt or whatever. He chuckled lightly at her comment and nodded. "I'll stay dressed up that day," he promised. Once they got to their destination, though, it would come off, one way or the other. He gave the girl a slightly teasing grin. "What, you don't want me to wander around shirtless," he teased her lightly. "Afraid I'll be too busy fussing Amber or Chaos to fuss with you," he all but cackled, really just finding it to be fun to tease the girl about that. He'd caught the hungry look she'd given him on multiple occasions....and on their honeymoon, it definitely wouldn't be any different.

Mari hummed gently to the boy, giving a bit of a smile to him. "I'll ask nicely," she promised before pecking his cheeks softly, shuffling under the covers and shifting into him a bit so that she was resting her head on his shoulders. She hummed lightly to the boy when he said he'd stay dressed up on their wedding day... she'd have to change, her dress was expensive so she refused to get it dirty... a suit would be easier to get cleaned off. She gave a bit of a laugh at his next comment. "I wouldn't mind at all..." she hummed gently before wrapping her arms around him. "But it's not every day I get to see you dressed up," she hummed softly to him, a bit of a yawn escaping her. She then leaned away a tiny bit. "If the cat and horse get in my way, I'll have to find someone else to fuss with me," she told him with a jokey pout.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded, a smile forming on his face in response to her kiss and wrapping his arms around her under the covers happily. He chuckled lightly when she said she wouldn't mind him going shirtless, though he let out a tiny hum at her next comment before gasping in mock offense. "No, you're mine," he whined in play, limpeting to the girl when she pulled away with a tiny chuckle. He let out a soft sigh once they'd stopped laughing and curled up against her happily with a slight yawn. It was getting late, he supposed...they could have an early night.

Mari slipped her hands under his shirt, closing her eyes after a moment or two, a deflating sigh escaping her. "Well, then I need a fuss too!" She told him in amusement. She did love both the horse and the cat... but she also loved Sage, and she did like getting a bit of affection from him. She was normally the one to be playing with his hair and giving him shoulder massages, rubbing his back and cooking dinner and the like... so when she did get a fuss she just seemed so elated and content with everything. She eventually started to drift off to sleep, more than excited about everything.

Sage hummed lightly and let out a tiny chuckle. "Well, you'll get plenty of fusses while we're out," he promised the girl. He would definitely give her a bit of a fuss....no doubt that's what she was expecting. He was expecting it too....they had an entire week to themselves, and he fully expected to take advantage of that. He sort of ran his hand through he hair for a minute as they relaxed before just snuggling in, keeping a hold of her head, and falling asleep.

Mari hummed softly to him, giving a small nod. "So will you," she promised to the boy. Sage deserved a bit of attention when they were on their honeymoon... this had to be fun for both of them. They wouldn't get to go anywhere much... this was going to be expensive, so they wouldn't afford much after... and they were saving for their house. She was asleep soon enough, though. The next morning, she'd woken up fairly early... they had a lot to do, the wedding was the next day after all. She had to make sure everything was perfect... it had to be perfect. She rolled over so that she was straddling the boy as he slept, pecking his lips gently as she ran her hands though his hair. "Sage," she hummed softly, "wake up, we have things to do," she told him lightly, giving an excited bounce.

Sage groaned slightly and shifted a bit when the girl woke him, opening his eyes slowly and hugging out a sleepy breath of air. "They can get done in a bit," he sighed, still half asleep. "Can't they?" He'd get up soon enough....but he was somewhat tired still, and comfortable, so he wasn't all too keen on getting up. He was very excited, and wanted things to be perfect just as much as Mari, and she knew that...he just really wasn't a morning person, and she'd woken up pretty early. He felt a small smile drift on his face when he felt her voice on him, and he ran his hand over his face to look up at Mari blearily. "Can we at least eat breakfast first," he pleaded, figuring he wasn't going to get any more sleep.

Mari hummed softly to the boy before leaning forwards so that she was hovering just over his face. "They can, I don't know about you but I'm only getting married once. So I really want to make sure everything is perfect," she told him in a bit of a whisper. He was clearly still tired, so she didn't want to be too loud. She pecked his nose gently before sitting up a little bit. "Of course... stay here and rest, I'll go grab you something," she told him gently. She clambered up off him and padded towards the kitchen, making up some waffles and pancakes before returning with a plate full of them and tea.
