Sage hummed and nodded, knowing that either of those people would definitely help take care of the baby, if either he or Mari did end up dying. "Either of them would I think," he hummed. He nodded with a sigh when she said he should spend time with Att. "I know," he murmured lightly. "I've said hi here and there but haven't had much time to spend with him," he sighed. "I'll bring him out and do something with him before the wedding," he promised.

She hated talking about this... the fact that their little family could be ripped apart so easily. She knew Sage wasn't healthy... but neither was she, really. She didn't think she'd be able to live very long once he'd passed, either. She didn't want Silas to be left alone, so they'd have to talk to the doctor and her brother about it at some point... to see if anything happened to them they'd take the child. Silas needed to be around people that would look after him and take him away from a life in the slums. She knew Anthony and the doctor would do just that. "Please do... that child adores you, you know," she mused lightly.

Sage wasn't fond of talking about this, and he knew Mari wasn't either, but it was so, so important for them to talk about. To know that their baby would be cared for if something did happen. It had almost already happened....Mari could have easily died when she's been shot those months prior. But, that was the last, and he decided to focus on the wedding...it was soon, really soon, and he was quite excited about it. He nodded and hummed lightly when she mentioned Att. "I'll bring him down to the ward with me tomorrow, spend some time with him." The day after that was the wedding, and then they'd be gone, so he did want to see the boy before they left.

Mari nodded in agreement to him. She was back to work now... though, the queen had pretty much decided that she had to do nothing other than plan for the wedding... everything was sorted now, though, so all they had to do was decorate... which a few people were doing already. "Good, he needs it... you're pretty much his dad. I know we have Silas, but the child needs a father too. Luther isn't here to do that now," she prompted again. She then gave a happy-looking smile... tomorrow was the final day they'd get before getting married... and god, she was excited. There was no one she'd instead do this with than him... and she really couldn't wait. "Then we can go get some time to ourselves," She told him with a happy pur.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded in response to the girl's comment. "I know. Anya keeps a tight hold on the boy though," he noted with amusement." She really did....she let him mosey about with the lad, but maybe he should do more than what he was already doing with him. He did wish Luther was still here, but he was glad that they'd made up before he'd died. If they hadn't, things would have been a bit worse. He chuckled slightly and reached up to peck the girl on the lips. "I have something planned out for our honeymoon," he promised lightly. "But it's a surprise," he all but giggled. He really was so excited about it all.

Mari nodded lightly to the boy before shrugging. "I know she does," she mused lightly. "He's trouble but she does love him, even more now that Luther isn't here. I think she's scared to lose him," she hummed quietly. She couldn't help her giddy-sounding giggle when he kissed her. "You cant tell me you have something planned then not tell me what it is!" She squeaked to him. "I need to know what to pack," she told him with a laugh. "Or you'll have to do it for me," she hummed softly. She then moved to wrap her arms around him again. "I can't wait to see you dressed up," she then added with a laugh.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. "If she gave him a bit of freedom, I don't think he'd be so much trouble," he admitted. "She does a good job though," he hummed. He chuckled lightly and cuddled into her again when she wrapped her arms around him again. "Don't worry, I'll pack," he laughed, shaking his head in amusement. "It's not like we have much to bring," he pointed out. "And Silas is staying with your family." He'd asked her mother a while back, and the lady was absolutely delighted to spend a few days with the boy. He snorted when she said she was looking forward to seeing him dressed up. "And it's the only time you'll see it," he teased lightly.

Mari shrugged slightly... she wasn't really one to judge the other girl's parenting. She'd been through enough, and it did make sense for her to hold the child close to her. But she did think a bit of freedom for the child would have been a bit easier for her. Oh well, Sage could talk to her about it if he wanted. She gave a smile when the boy said he'd pack for her. "Make sure you pack me something nice... something you'll like," she purred to him before settling down with a deflating sigh. She pouted at the boy when he said she'd never get to see him dressed up again. "What? I'm going to have a husband I never get to see looking smart?" She joked lightly. Really, she didn't care... even if it was only once, she was ever so excited about it all.

Sage chuckled lightly and gave the girl a light grin. "Would a joke about how packing nothing for you to wear would be what I like," he laughed. He was really just teasing the girl....he didn't need to her show off for him. She knew that too, which was why he could make a joke like that. "Don't worry, you'll have what you need," he promised. Then he snorted at her other comment. "If I wear something nice you'll just end up taking it off," he teased the girl lightly. "I'd end up crumpled up on the floor," he laughed.

Mari felt a bit of a flush paint her cheeks after a few moments but chucked gently. "I don't know that the people wherever we're going would appreciate me walking around naked," she mused softly to the boy before giving a bit of a pout. She knew she didn't have to show off at all... but it would be fun all the same. Sage didn't ask for much, so it would probably be more for her than anything. She gave a bit of a sheepish smile at his next comments, though. "Yeah... but taking it off it all apart of the fun, Sage," she complained to the boy.
