Sage snorted out a laugh and shrugged lightly. "Well, if these potions are what makes me happy when I'm around you then I suppose I can't complain," he chirped, still just joking around. He snickered at her next comment before wrinkling his nose. "I don't know, it was a brief thought," he laughed, shaking his head. "I don't think that far ahead and you know it," he giggled lightly. He hummed at her next comment and nodded. "Well I'm certainly glad you do," he hummed. Really, he wasn't sure what he'd do if he hadn't met Mari, and if she hadn't decided she liked him. Actually, he could guess at what he'd be doing or have done...and it scared him a little bit.

Mari chuckled at him... or was cheesy, very cheesy, but amusing all the same. "Hmm... well I'm just glad they worked," she mused to him, gently pecking his cheek. She really was happy, too. Her life would be so dull if it wasn't for him. They'd had Silas even if they hadn't gotten this far together, and even if they hadn't fallen in love, and they'd had the child, it would be a fun. She'd still have her baby in that scenario. If they hadn't gotten to the point where they'd liked each other enough to do anything, then her life would have been as slow and as boring as it all ways had been. "But you should always think ahead, Sage!" She teased to boy lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly and hummed. "You probably could slip something into a meal and it would be too yummy for me to care," he admitted with a bit of a chuckle. Her food was good...so even if he'd noticed something in it, which was highly unlikely, he wasn't all too sure he would care. He trusted her, though, so that probably helped. He snorted at her next comment and shook his head. "Nope," he chirped. "I like to live dangerously down here," he joked, knowing that not thinking ahead was most definitely not the most dangerous thing he'd ever done nor would ever do. That was probably why it was so funny, though. Thinking ahead, especially in times like this, where he was cuddled up and cozy....it just seemed like a waste of energy. He'd much rather just...be. In the moment. Because his life could easily turn on a dime at any time.

Mari hummed softly to the boy. "I'll have to try it now. My cooking is alright bit but it's not that good," she told him with a bit of a laugh. It was alright... but she was no professional. She would have to try and put something in there... nothing nasty, maybe an odd ingredient or something. See if he'd still eat it. She'd never do anything to hurt him, though, and he knew that. Mari rolled her eyes at his comment. She moved to peck him on the head and chuckled lightly. "I know you like to live dangerously. One of these days you'll give me a heart attack," she told him lightly before closing her eyes a little bit. "Maybe you'll settle down in your old age," she joked.

Sage snorted and rolled his eyes when she said she'd try and put something odd in there, just to mess with him. She would too...maybe he should keep an eye on the food she made. It was an amusing thought, really...but he did trust the girl. He wrinkled his nose slightly at her next comments and shook his head. "I don't think I'll die normally," he chuckled. "I'll either go out horribly or because I did something absolutely stupid, like tripping on a stick and falling and breaking my neck," he joked lightly. Really, dying in his sleep sometime would be the best option, he thought....but he doubted that would happen. "Maybe," he hummed doubtfully. "I'll be the most fun grandpa or uncle ever though," he chuckled lightly. That was, if he lived that long....there was just no way of knowing how old he'd end up being.

Mari pulled away from him and wrinkled her nose at him... she didn't particularly want to think about the love of her life dying. Not right now when they were cuddling up, especially if he was talking about it happening some horrific ways, either . "I'm not sure I want to think about you dying some stupid way. We're about to get married, so let's hope it doesn't happen any time soon," she whispered to him before shuffling down so that she was facing him. "But you will be the best uncle, if Anthony can get his shot together and actually find someone nice. You'll have to wait a bit for Xander, though," she joked lightly to him before shaking her head.

Sage chuckled lightly and shrugged, grinning over at the girl. "That's my plan," he chirped lightly. "I fully plan on getting as much love from you as I possibly can," he chuckled lightly. He chuckled lightly when she said Anthony would have to find someone. "If I can do it he can do it," he mused in a rather amused tone. "Xander's still a bit young," he agreed with a laugh, curling up into her again, but leaving their faces close to each other.

Mari hummed softly to him and pecked his lips softly. "You get all of my love already, don't you my softie," she teased him happily, leaning in to peck his lips again. She looked thoughtful for a moment before looking to him with a more somber expression on her face. "But since we were on it... if anything were to happen to either of us, what would you want to happen?" She knew if she'd died, she'd want him to move on and be happy. He deserved to be happy, even if she wasn't there, being the one that made him happy. But she also knew that if anything happened to him she'd never get over it.

Sage chuckled lightly, his normal dumb grin forming when she kissed him. It probably only widened in response to her second kiss, though he cocked his head slightly at her next comment. The smile faded, and he pursed his lips slightly. "well...we'd still have Silas to raise up right," he hummed. If Mari died, he knew he'd be an absolute mess...but hed have to still care for Silas. The baby would be all he had, really. But he also knew if he died, Mari would obviously be very upset. But Silas still needed care, no matter how old he was at the time. In all reality, he could die in a few years just because he's grown up in such bad conditions. Or, he could live a longer life, with Mari as Silas grew into an adult too. They just couldn't tell. But there was a real possibility this would happen to their little family quite soon.

Mari saw the look on his face drop a little bit... it wasn't particularly a nice thing to think about, especially when you were getting ready to start your life together. But she needed to talk about this... it was so, so important. If something happened to either of them, she wanted to have everything covered. "The doctor would take him," she murmured quietly. Well, the man was getting on now, too... "Or maybe Anthony? It wouldn't be fair to pawn him off of Anya, she already struggles with Att... who, actually, you need to go and spend some time with," she then added gently.
