Zephyr nodded, then smiled. "Great." He answered, then brightened slightly. "I figured out I can draw not only faces but bodies as well. I just did a piece- a cloaked person floating in the air." He grinned jokingly, thinking of his drawing he had done the night before. He sighed slightly. As she spoke he glanced at her. "Okay. See you there." Zephyr said before going to his first class. The next, the one he was actually excited for .. art. He paused in the doorway, glancing around.

Sophia smiled "wow! I can't wait to see it when you get the chance!" She walked away to her first class then awkwardly looked around. There were no kids in the classroom. She went to the door and noticed a paper that had fallen to the ground. "Go to the softball field" it read. She practically ran. A few other kids had joined in. They made it to the class where they started talking about aerodynamics and how a softball moves through the air compared to a football or a basketball. For the softball experiment, each kid had to design their own special "softball" for Sophia to hit. Her part was to help her group then hit the balls from the other players to see how far they would go. Some of them put holes in theirs while others added more weight. She hit all of the balls, some flying further than others. The class would cheer her on when she would prepare to bat. When she left the softball field a few minutes early with the rest of the class, the teacher dismissed them early. She had gotten everything sat out in the art room when she noticed Zephyr in there doorway. She smiled at him and carefully pulled out the drawing she had done. She turned it over with a wince.

Zephyr noticed Sophia, so he went straight over there to the empty desk beside her. "Hey." He greeted her, already rummaging for a sharp pencil and a clean piece of paper. He couldn't draw a balloon to save his life but he could draw a complex human face. Funny how his mind worked. "What'd you want to show me?" Zeph asked with a small tilt of his head.

"Hi! Ok. Don't judge me... but I drew this a few days ago. " she flipped over the drawing of the boy and girl in all stages of life. Together. "I know you saw it yesterday, but I thought I should explain-" a substitute teacher walked into the classroom and slammed a few books in the desk. "Alright class. Draw what you want. Just stay quiet. Not a single word. Please. I have some work I need to do" Sophia shrunk back in her chair. How could she tell him now? She was beginning to freak out. What if he stared at it long enough that he figured out it was him and her before she could explain?

"I don't judge. Ever. Or I try not to." Zephyr answered before looking at the drawing, again marveling at how each figure seemed perfect. "And you said you can't draw humans..." He mused, studying each line for tips. When the substitute walked in he looked up, his face immediately changing from Nice-Zephyr to I-Know-How-To-Make-People-Mad-And-I-Think-Its-Funny-Zephyr. "Hey teach, for one you must've procrastinated if you need to do your work in here - aren't teachers always telling students not to do that? Ever heard of this thing called a deadline? Anyway, for two, you can't keep us from talking the whole class. It's impossible. For three, if you can't deal with some quiet murmuring you need to get a different job." He announced with a slight smirk. "So this is what I call a calculated risk- I may get detention or even the Principal's Office but they can't stop me from going to the game." He joked quietly to Sophia.

Sophia ducked deeper into she seat "what are you doing?" She whispered, her eyes wide. "What's gotten into you!" She asked when he spoke to her. "But then I can't see you at lunch!" She slid her hand closer to his as she pulled herself to a upright position. Her hand brushed his lightly, sending a bolt of electricity up her arm.

The teacher managed to look impressed, appalled, and outraged all at the same time. "Whatever your name is, don't talk to me like that again!" She snapped, then took a deep breath. "But you have a tiny insignificant point. Class, you may talk quietly amongst yourselves." The substitute teacher glared at Zephyr before resuming her work. Zeph grinned triumphantly. "I'm reverting back to old ways- probably a bad thing. What do you think got me So popular? Last year I was the only person with enough *audacity* to talk back to the teachers, and apparently everyone admired me for it. Believe me, I don't do it much anymore." He explained in a low voice, quickly sketching something before shaking his head with a smile. "You will, because look at this. She has more patience than I thought. Score for Zeph, respect for teacher. Anyway, what did you want to show me?" He inquired quietly, tracing random lines on the paper before a few more that connected them all to be a human, holding what seemed to be a ball of light, turned slightly away. He stared at it for a second before erasing something and trying again.

"Ok then" she flicked his shoulder then glanced at the teacher. "So it's the drawing I made a few days ago. The one with the same two people over and over again? Ring a bell? Well I may or may not have accidentally made it you and me. See?" She slid the paper over and pointed at their kiss. "I didn't even know. This was before we kissed. " she leaned closer to Zephyr. She could imagine herself kissing him again, her body pressed against his.

Zephyr brought his attention from his drawing to hers. He tilted his head as he studied it again, eyes tracing every line as if he was figuring out how to create it. Or ... re-create it. "Accidentally." He repeated, glancing at it again and noticing similar features. Darker shades hair for his, the same sharp jawline for his, her long hair.. yeah, he could see it. Easily now. At her next words he paused for a second. "Were... were you hoping it was us?" He finally asked quietly, his eyes flitting up to meet hers, the steely dark blue like a dark funnel.
