Sage was glad to see the girl's face light up when she saw the baby's head pop up and over the crib side. They'd have to be careful...Silas seemed like the type to try and crawl out of the crib through the night. In all honesty, he'd probably just try to get to them and Amber if he did, but sage was still cautious....he didn't want his baby getting hurt. He grinned over at the girl when she grabbed him, more than happy to cuddle up with her. Silas had started to grab the bottle by himself too, and whack Sage's hand away from it, so all he was doing was holding the baby while he drank the milk, really. He found it rather amusing when the boy whacked his hand away, he really did....he'd be an independent one, it seemed like. But, of course, he still liked cuddling up to mommy and daddy.

Mari held onto him for a little while, watching the child nurse happily. She supposed she wouldn't have to do it anymore... well, she didn't mind. She liked seeing her child all grown up. She couldn't wait to see what kind of person he'd become. She just hoped he'd be something like his father... because he was the most wonderful man she'd ever known. So patient and kind, despite everything he'd been through... she just loved him, so, so much. (sorry very short I'm on the run - do you want to do a little bit of a skip? Maybe to some more of the wedding planning)

(It's all good! I'll do something where it's the last few days before the wedding, so Mari's all healed up and the weddings coming lol) Sage was more than happy to lay there for a bit. Though, he did have to go to the barn at some point, so after another hour or so he left them to go work. The next few months were similar...sleep in, have some family time, work, then come home and work on planning the wedding, while cuddling with Mari and Silas. There was only a few days left, and Anya was dragging him along to the tailors again, apparently not trusting him to pick out a decent outfit on his own. Mari and her mother needed to go dress shopping, too, but most of the big details were already made.

Mari had spent the next few months in bed... trying her best to help with the wedding planning. She'd been so excited about it all, so she'd feel a bit... silly if she didn't at least try to help. But things were coming together... it was a bit quiet, there weren't many people going, but it was good enough for her, it really was. They'd decided exactly what they were wanting to decorate the lake, too... it was all wonderful. Baby Silas... well, he wasn't so much of a baby anymore, not at all. He was always happy and upbeat. He'd started babbling words now and crawling around. He hadn't actually said anything, but it was surely coming. He was nearly a year now, so it was about time, too. She had to get a dress, and soon... ideally, they would have already found it, but she just wanted it to be perfect. She wanted to feel pretty... and she wanted Sage to like it too. She still wasn't sure what they were doing for their little getaway, but nothing that happened would be bad. She wasn't even sure if they were going to go somewhere... but she didn't mind if not. Her mother had booked a little appointment at a bridal shop... the woman had offered to pay for... well, pretty much everything now. Her dress and shoes and for he hair to be done up nicely. It didn't have to be done, she could do that herself... she was a maid, after all. But her mother had said if they put a bit of money together, they could get a fairly nice dress... and Mari was admittedly excited to see what they'd find.

Sage had had a good time, talking about everything and planning it all out. The closer it got, the more excited he got. He couldn't wait for it all to happen....he was a bit antsy about getting up in front of people, but it was all people he knew well, and was comfortable around. Well, he still didn't completely trust Anthony not to sucker punch him, though he had been making progress with getting to know the older boy. Anthony certainly wasn't as cold towards him as he first was, and he did adore little Silas. He'd gotten to know Mari's mother quite well, and he did love the woman. She'd certainly become a parental figure to him....which was a nice feeling to have. He'd started calling her mom at some point, and she was delighted about it. Though, right now, while he was on his way back from the barn, he wanted to stop at the queen's office and ask about using the vacation home for a honeymoon. Mari thought he was still working....but he wanted this to be a surprise, and he certainly hoped it worked out, because he didn't have a plan B. He knocked on the queen's door almost heasitantly, hoping she'd at least decline respectfully if it wasn't possible. He still really just didn't trust the woman, and couldn't help but tread cautiously about her. But he did really, really want this.

Mari was dragged down to the little shop... they were given cakes and the likes while she picked out dresses. She was certainly giddy... but she did find one she particularly liked. It was white, like most, but a few of the intricate details on the back and chest were particularly interesting to her. They were gorgeous... and it matched their colour scheme perfectly. It was just withing their budget, and they still had a bit left for some extras. It had to be altered a little bit smaller to fit her, but it was gorgeous all the same. It would hopefully be ready for the wedding, too. She did buy a pair of little white pumps too, they had a bit of a heel but not much, because god knows she was likely to trip and break her ankle before she even go to the alter if they were any higher. But they were nice, and she was certainly very, very happy.

Sage wandered along, and heasitated outside the queen's office, knocking after a moment. He would leave for the tailors soon, but he wanted to ask her about the vacation home before he left with Anya. He had to admit, he was a bit excited about getting all suited up for the wedding....it was almost here, and he really couldn't wait. But he wanted to get this finalized ...a yes or a no, either way. He certainly hoped it was a yes, though, because as of right then, it was the only place he knew of that they could use without spending way too much money. And he wanted Mari to have a good time on their honeymoon. So, he just had to suck it all up and talk to the queen.

Mari hopped back to her room, looking more than happy to have found such a nice outfit... she wasn't expecting have actually found something she liked. She'd been expecting something very simple... boring, but this was nice, and to be honest, it was probably the prettiest thing she owned. She was certainly excited for Sage to see it... what he'd think. It wasn't the most extravagant outfit by far, but it was a bit nicer than the simple white frock she'd been expecting. - The woman was busy at work when she heard a bit of a knock on the door... she'd been getting on with Sage a little bit more, but they weren't exactly close. But they weren't fighting all the time, and she wasn't shouting at him, and he wasn't getting angry at her either. She looked up and called for the boy to come in.

Sage entered the queen's office rather heasitantly and offered the woman a small smile, sort of just hovering in the doorway, ready to take flight. "Sorry to bother you while you're working," he hummed when he noticed the pen in her hand. "I was going to ask you this before...but then Mari got hurt and..." He trailed off with a sort of shrug....she'd understand what he was trying to say. "I was wondering...is the vacation home being used? If it's not,I was wondering if Mari and I could have our honeymoon there. Neither of us make much, but I want to surprise her with somewhere nice," he chirped, obviously excited about the whole thing.

The woman just kind of stared at him before shrugging. If it was Sage asking for himself, she probably would have said no, but this was for him and Mari and he seemed really quite excited about everything. This was their honeymoon... and she had a feeling he wouldn't have had another plan. She sighed before shaking her head. "Yeah, of course. Don't make a mess, and the servants there as a luxury. They don't need to work for you, you understand? There is a cook already, but you'll be eating the same as everyone else unless you send a menu beforehand," she told him sternly. "I take it you want me to arrange a carriage too?"
