Malakai watched them go before turning his attention to outside his windows, watching the sun dip below the horizon. Orianna nodded, not saying anything, being unusually quiet. Ori went over and peered into Kais door, watching him for a moment. She contemplated entering and speaking with him, but she still felt so guilty for being the cause of his pain. Ori just watched for a while before slipping away just before getting caught. Kai looked towards the door, and saw the blur as if someone was leaving quickly, but didn't see who it was. Kai just laid there, unable to get up and investigate feeling very much alone. |

Camery settled down to eat happily. She found herself absentmindedly chatting to Malakais mother, and of course Duncan. She still felt bad for not being able to help him more... it was obvious he wanted to get out into the mountains. They soon finished, though, and she picked up some pudding for Malakai, figuring it'd be easy to eat. She excused herself from the table, and wandered up towards the infirmary again, holding the little bowl with a proud expression across her face. She wandered in, and put the bowl on the side table happily. "I managed to sneak something for you," she mused lightly. "Do you know how long they want you to stay in here?" |

Malakai Negri - Malakai smiled at her, glancing at the pudding. "Thanks," he smiled up at her, taking the bowl and taking a bowl. "Probably only a few more days, then they'll move me back to my room," |

Camery Valatieri - Camery shrugged at him before flashing a soft smile. "No worries. God knows what they'll try and feed you down here," she mused lightly. She pursed her lips slightly as he spoke, then shrugged. "Better safe than sorry, I suppose," she hummed in thought.
The castle still seemed so loud... well, there were hundreds of people sat in it. All angry that they couldn't leave, and nearly all of them still suspecting her. The guards were all looking at her funny, like they were ready to jump on her at any given moment. "Have they figured out who it was yet?" She asked quietly. |

Malakai Negri - Malakai smiled and took another bite. He chuckled "Yeah, they tried to feed me this juice thing. Turns out it was pureed ham and peas," he chuckled. Kai pursed his lips, "No, not yet. It could've been anyone. Everyone had access to the gardens," |

Camery Valatieri - Camery made a face when he tried to discribe his mashed ham and peas... she could imagine how they made it, and she didn't imagine it could be great. "Mmm, yummy," she mused lightly to him.
She couldn't help but be a little disheartened when he said they'd found nothing yet. She did want to go home soon... she had been away long enough, and the more eyes that were on her, the more uncomfortable she was getting. |

Malakai Negri - Malakai chuckled. "Mmm... yeah..." he joked, playing along, taking another bite of his pudding before setting it aside. "Its scary that its someone whos still here..." he muttered. This person had tried to kill him, and almost succeeded. Surely, they'd try again... |

Camery Valatieri - The girl chuckled at his joke, her eyes light. It was nice to see him happy, especially after all of this. She patted his chest happily. "I suppose all considering, it would be pretty difficult to eat hard foods... since your ribs are broken and all.
She glanced up, her eyes wandering to the wound on his wing. "Do your wings hurt?" She asked curiously. She nodded in agreement to him after a moment or two. It was scary. "Yeah, I know," she murmured softly. "But nothing is going to happen to you, not now that they know someone is around," she hummed gently. "And especially not now that you can't run off anymore," she chuckled softly. |

Malakai Negri - Malakai nodded, "True..." he hummed. "A little," he replied, glancing at his wing in bandages, the other in the splint. "They should be fine though. Wings heal the fastest," Kai chuckled and nodded, taking her hand and squeezing it. "I know," he said with a smile. He'd be okay. |

Camery Valatieri - Cam looked back at them curiously. She'd never really spoken to anyone that had wings like this before. Each of the kingdoms had their own trade marks. Like Orianna, her whole body was as white as snow, other than her eyes. The autumn kingdom had firery red hair, and always had a slightly unhinged look about them. Camery had her soft golden lines, and during the day her featured seemed to almost glow, even in the dark, and Malakai had wings and those dark tattoos. She didn't know how it all worked, but it just... did.
She looked down at his hand, and gently rubbed the back of it comfortingly. "I need to head off to bed soon... do you need anything?" She asked softly. Her eyes then widened. "Oh, I saw Orianna earlier. I think she was coming to find you," she hummed. |
