"...that's the definition of being pessimistic, Matt." Trixie frowned, but she moved easily at his touch, hovering slightly so she wasn't laying on him. She leaned gently into his kiss, reciprocating it gently and laying one hand in his hair, running her fingers through it lightly.

Matt gave a weak smile and wrapped his hands around her waist, moving her hair back out her face briefly. "Did you actually..mean what you said?" he asked, his tone quiet due to the nerves. "i love you, i mean. that" he added, stumbling over his words, his body riddled with nerves. For all he knew, she could have just been saying as a spur of the moment thing, out of upset.

Trixie settled at his side, gently pulling him so he was facing her and wrapping her arms around him. She tilted her head slightly at his question, giving him a small smile that turned into a grin as he continued speaking. "Of course I did. I love you, Matteo." She whispered soothingly, trying to hide just how much it melted her heart to hear him say that. She pulled herself slightly closer to him and gave him a light kiss on the forehead.

"I love you too" Matt whispered, resting his head against Trixies. The more he heard the phrase the more scared he became, considering he had never felt this way towards basically..anyone. But, for some reason it felt right to say it to Trixie, though he hadn't known her all that long. He closed his eyes briefly at the kiss on his forehead, though everything once again went incredibly dizzy, and he found it hard to re-open his eyes. From the white spots in front of his eyes and the fluctuating volume of his surroundings, he could tell very well he was going to black out soon. "I'll miss you" he said suddenly, filling the silence that had been there before.

Trixie couldn't tell if she wanted to sob or kiss him until she simply couldn't. Just being with him was starting to hurt her heart a little. She had to hold back a sob when he spoke again, hugging him a little tighter. "I'll miss you too. I'm just... really glad I got to be with you while I could." She murmured back, gently stroking his hair.

Matt smiled weakly, though he pretty much wanted to just lie there with his eyes closed and keep it that way, his body felt incredibly weak. "Come here" He said quietly, pulling her in a little closer, stroking her hair gently. "You'll be okay by yourself, I promise" he mumbled, weakly shaking his hair out his face, opening his eyes to look at Trixie. It was only a matter of a couple of seconds before he actually blacked out, and he could then only hear everything, though he had lost sight and feeling rather quickly.

Trixie moved easily for him, tightening her grip on him slightly because she could practically feel him slipping away. She settled her forehead against his, simply keeping herself as close as possible to him and savoring the gentle feeling of him stroking her hair. "Maybe. Maybe not." She said softly, letting a small, pitiful whimper loose when he went limp and his eyes closed. "Please don't leave me." She pleaded softly, her voice shaking with the words as she closed her eyes and set her head in the crook of his neck.
