she was still seechless about his eyes, but when he moved out of the light, she searched for the green, and when she noticed it was gone, she gently pulled him back into the light, moving her face close to his as she looked at his emerald eyes

Tyler tipped his head slightly. He was slightly confused... but then he remembered that his eyes only really showed their true color in the right light. "Do you like my eyes?" Tyler chuckled, half jokingly. Her eyes were... beautiful, to say the least. He loved the golden yellow burst around the shining blue.

she only nodded as she watched his emerals green eyes. her eyes flicked behind him to the window, the lightning getting intense. she bit the inside of her cheek and returned her attention to the amazing guy infront of her, distracting her from the lightning. she had terrible memories associated with them...

(Wow... I'm flattered. I really haven't had that many compliments in one sentence from anyone XD) - Tyler looked at Abby. He didn't say anything... but he almost wished he could read her mind. She could be so confusing at times... and Tyler only wished he could help her with that.

(lol) her eyes licked to the window once more... and she immediately regretted it... lightning struck somewhere, sending a huge boom of thunder. she gulped and almost threw herself at Tyler, shivering with fright. her father had ruined her with lightning... she hated the old man even more now

Tyler looked surprised, wrapping his arms around Abby. "What's wrong?" He asked, his voice full of concern and worry. Tyler glanced backwards at the lightning and thunder outside... that could be it. Tyler sighed, grabbing the blanket and covering Abby up with it. He just cradled her in his arms, waiting until the storm was over.

"as a punishment for whatever i did... my hateful father would put me out in the rain in a bathing suit no matter what the weather was like... mother would come get me... but one time i was inside watching the storm and father picked me up, took me outside, and locked me out of the house... i was only five years old... i know nothing will happen now that he's gone, but i feel like he still haunts me..." she cuddled closer to him

Tyler looked and felt sadder with every word Abby spoke. "I'm so, so sorry... but I promise that will never happen again. Now you have me. I'm nothing like him, and I would do anything to protect you. You do know that, right?" Tyler asked quietly, looking at Abby. There was nothing he would not do to help her or protect her.

she nodded and laid her head on his shoulder, her forehead pressed softly against his neck

Tyler stayed still... he just wanted to feel like a safe place for Abby. He watched the lightning flash down, the sparks lighting up his green eyes.
