Ryker grinned mischeviously at her words before drifting a couple inches away and looking up at the sky. "The famous Aurora Borealis, or as most people call it, the Northern Lights." He mumbled, his eyes glinting as he watched the sky, the water slowly swishing while they stayed swimming.

Abby nodded at his words. "This is gorgeous" she said as she stared in awe at the sky. Her hazel eyes glimmered as they reflected the lights. She felt something swim past her feet and she practically jumped out of the water, launching onto Ryker and pulling her legs out of the water. "Something touched my foot. Something touched my foot. Something touched my foot" she repeated and she frantically scanned the water

Ryker was definitely immersed in the shimmering color that writhed across the sky, so he was not prepared in the least when Abby frantically jumped almost on top of him. He let out a yelp of surprise and shot down into the water, using the second or two to open his eyes and clearly see a fish swimming away. Since the pond was only 15 feet deep at most he let himself sink, which he had mastered since he was a boy. He had very dense bones so it was easy to sink. Once Ryker was sitting on the bottom he grumpily stayed there, deciding Abby could flail around for a little bit before he came back up. As he looked around in the partially murky yet still rather clear water he saw a much, much bigger fish slowly swim out of the weeds. +a... nope... air needs me anyway+ he thought, pushing off of the bottom and popping out of the water beside Abby. "Some big fish down there." He said cheerfully as he breathed, appreciating the air - and wanting to get out of the water.

Abby shrieked when Ryker sunk to the bottom. She tried to reach him but knew she couldn't. She decided that if he died drowning, she would do the same. She was just about to attempt to rescue him when he shot back up. "You scared the life out of me!" She swam away until she could touch the bottom. "Ok. So big gosh? Like how big?" She shiver a little because the thought of a giant fish big enough to eat her feet whole scared her.

Ryker muffled his snorts of laughter by sticking his head in the pond for a moment before resurfacing. "I pretty much lived in water as a boy, in fact in school I got teased about being half fish. Don't worry about me. Aaaand big fish as in if a fisherman caught it they'd bring it home to eat." He answered, only having to swim a little bit inland to touch the bottom, then walking up to Abby. "Only like, this big or such. Your feet wouldn't be the issue. Your legs would." He teased, grinning.

At that she took off, picking her feet up high so she could smoothly run out of the water without planting head first. "That's it! I'm out!" She tripped over a rock and rolled onto the ground. "Ouch. I'm fine!" She pulled herself up then found a good climbing tree. "I'm too short! Shoot" she sighed and put her hands on her hips, staring up at the tree as she planned a way to climb up

Abby rolled her eyes when he made fun of her. "Help help help!" She jumped, trying to reach the lowest hanging branch. "But the trees are my safe place! You know that! I used to sleep in one!"

Ryker wrinkled his nose slightly with a sigh. "Of course I know that, how could I not notice?" He asked with a coating of sarcasm, grabbing her waist the third time she jumped and boosting her up into the tree. After she was up he hopped up as well, leaning against the trunk on one of the lower branches.

Abby kissed his cheek before he boosted her up. She scooted over and just then, he jumped up too. "Hello Handsome" she grinned "I can't stop reimagining you in that suit" she smiled and monkeyed over to the branch he was on, sitting in front of him and leaning back, laying her head on his chest. "You're comfy"
