"Yes, you really should have. It is about time we actually get to know each other. What's your name again?" He said sarcastically, though his eyes stayed trained on the forest. Ajax was starting to not mind Mercy playing with his poor hair... because she did it so much.. but he was still annoyed he had to push it back to its normal position after she was done. Now, when she ignored everything else, did that include Ajax's again shocked expression, and how he stiffened slightly, and how his eyebrows shot up again? Because that's what happened. Then he mentally smacked himself, scolded and said he couldn't shy away or stiffen every time Mercy got near him because it would be EXHAUSTING moving every three seconds. Ajax was trying to figure out what to say when he heard a gasp, and caught a glimpse of blonde hair. "Oh no he didn't..." He mumbled with a slight groan. - Goose was going over to ask Ajax something, when, TOTALLY OUT OF THE BLUE... MERCY KISSED AJAX. AGHHHHH. WHAT HAD GOOSE DONE WITH HIS LIFE THAT HE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THAT. He fixed it right away after his loud, dramatic gasp, walking up. "Ajax!" Goose squeaked. "Who are you? Are you like an Angel in disguise because THE OLD AJAX WOULD'T DO THAT. HUH. I'M CONFUSED. Did Mercy beat you or something?" He gushed - At this point Ajax was done with Goose. The man had barely started speaking when Ajax flew forward, ramming into Goose and licking the man right up off of his feet. With an astonished blonde rocket in his arms, the black wonder grumpily went towards Goose's cave and dumped Goose inside the cave when he got there. "STAY. HERE." Ajax commanded with a roll of his eyes, flying back. "Annoying gibberish monkey with a nose in people business problem..." Ajax mumbled a couple insults under his breath.

Mercy let out a slight laugh at his comment. She tried to stifle her laughter when she pulled back and saw his terrified expression, but it was barely manageable. She went shock still as soon as she heard Goose, quickly unwrapping her arms from Ajax and flushing a light pink. She gave the other demon a flat stare and tensed, crossing her arms uncomfortably. "Would you nose out, Goose?" She hissed, pressing her back against the wall a bit angrily. She huffed, slumping down to the floor as Ajax left and laying her head in her hands. She heard the quick swish of wings, the distinct sound of a landing, she assumed by Ajax. When she opened her eyes there wasn't a familiar, black haired demon in front of her. It was a blonde haired, blue eyed, white winged... Grady. She let out a small groan and stood up. "What do you want?" She hissed, blinking in surprise as he wrapped his arms around her. She raised her hands to press them against his chest, in an attempt to push him back. No luck. "I saw you with that demon." He growled bluntly. "You know I don't like him. I don't see why you do. So now you're coming back with me until you figure yourself out and realize I'm the better choice. Got it?" He asked, tilting his head and giving her a slightly mocking smile before leaning forward to pull her into a kiss. Mercy essentially had no where to go or any way to move, and she couldn't even formulate a response yet out of shock. So, of course, Ajax came back right as Grady forced her into a kiss, her body tense and still looking shell-shocked.

Yes, of course he came back at that point. HEY, ARE YOU TRYING TO FORCE MY CHARACTER TO DO SOMETHING. HUFF lol-// - Ajax grumpily muttered things to himself as he flew back, then his wings faltered and he landed silently with immense shock as he recognized a familiar Angel... Grady, was it? That wasn't even the shocking part. The astonishing, appalling, disgusting part.. was that the wretch of an Angel was kissing Mercy! Ajax felt fury well up inside of him as he silently stalked closer. He had never felt this want to actually hurt someone before... yes he got annoyed and angry when someone hurt him or someone else. But Mercy? This was completely different. When Ajax was in the shadows, almost invisible a couple feet away, he flared out his wings with a roar and shot forward like a cannonball. He used every ounce of his 210 pounds to slam into Grady so hard he heard a bone or two crack, and the Angel went flying sideways and hit the wall. Ajax stalked forward, seething, dark, foggy smoke rising from his shoulders that clouded out the air. His eyes glinted red as he appeared out of the smoke, heading straight towards Grady.

Who, me? NeVeR!)) Mercy flinched back as Grady got ripped off her, cowering back against the wall for a moment. Grady flared his wings as he got knocked into, wrapping them around himself as he got slammed into the wall. He was kneeling on the floor on his hands and knees, glaring up at Ajax with an eerie blue stare. He got up, looking quite infuriated at the taller man. The smoke simply faded when it got to withing about four feet of him, filling the air with a sort of golden mist in it's stead. Mercy shook her head and threw herself off the wall at Ajax, grabbing one of his arms and attempting to pull him back. She had never seen him act the way he was now, and it made her doubt his self control when it came to hurting an angel, or worse, murdering one. That was something that couldn't be undone. "Ajax, don't, please. He's not worth it. It's not that important, we can just go." She pleaded softly. That was when Grady spoke again. "Mercy, move." He ordered, flaring his large wings with a ghostly blue glow in his eyes.

Ajax snarled under his breath as he moved towards Grady, fury radiating from him in waves that could literally be felt in was so strong. He clenched his jaw and looked at Grady with a death stare that could probably kill a human, and was about to go in for more when Mercy grabbed his arm. He glanced back with an agonized look in his eyes. He hesitated for a moment, anger showing in his eyes and he looked towards Grady again. Ajax could end this all now. He could make sure this IDIOTIC Angel never touched Mercy again. But then he looked back at Mercy's pleading gaze and knew he couldn't. He would be chalked up as definitely dangerous. Other angels would be on the lookout, and he would practically be a 'kill on sight' case. If he did this, he ruined his chance of ever getting to spend time with Mercy again. Ajax finally turned round with a hunch of his shoulders, taking a couple steps away. "Yet again, she was right. You aren't worth it." He snapped under his breath at Grady, ignoring the angels last words. Welp, now his cave was toxicated with Grady's stench. He would yet again have to find a new home... and get his piano back. Ajax stalked off through the doorway, still smoking, obviously infuriated and angry.

"Thank you." Mercy whispered as he turned, gently grabbing his hand so he could push her away if he wanted to. She gave Grady a flat look and he gave her an expectant one. "Grady, will you just leave already?" Grady looked torn for a moment, but he seemed to realize it wouldn't be the wisest thing to get to her when Ajax was near, so he raised his wings. "This isn't over." He warned, then flew off. Mercy gave a small sigh and went after Ajax, looking up at him hesitantly. "I'm sorry about him." She murmured softly.

Ajax was trembling slightly with rage that was obviously still there, every muscle tense and quivering. His jaw shook a little, and Ajax at this point was focusing on decided which tree to punch to make himself feel better. "It'd better be over, or next time you won't have such a lucky outcome." Ajax snarled just low enough for Grady to hear but not snapping it, leaning on the outside of the cave wall and staring at the trees, his eyes snapping and smoldering angrily. "It obviously isn't your fault." Ajax muttered curtly, his hand shaking a little as he held Mercy's, not trying to push her away.

Mercy leaned only slightly against him, giving his hand three quick, gentle squeezes and laying her head on his shoulder. "Are you okay?" She asked softly, still looking up at him with slight concern. She glanced off after Grady somewhat anxiously, shifting slightly as she stood.

Ajax let out a very slow breath, his eyes fixed on where Grady disappeared. He SO BADLY just wanted to chase that flipping idiot and give him a couple good punches. Grady most definitely deserved at least that. "I'm fine... I just ... I don't want you to get hurt, and I- I want to spend more time with you. I don't want Grady to take you." Ajax said quietly, spitting out the word Grady like it was a bad tasting worm.

Mercy tilted her head slightly at his words, pretty sure her heart melted a little, especially with his stuttering. It must've really messed with him if he was stuttering, she had never seen him do that. She nodded and gave him a little, sweet smile. "Okay. I'll stay with you for however long you want me to." She said softly, moving to give him a hug.
