Oh and RGB lights on everything, because as a girl it is my god-given right to have everything shiny and glowy.

Ha, my desk is too... 'organised chaos' to ever have a nice setup, but I do have something of a theme. My tower is a white Silverstone Primera, my keyboard is a white Isku FX (custom modded), mouse is a white Tyon, headset is an Artemis Spectum Snow. I'm all about that black and white. Monitors though... white is hard to find.

Im tempted to attempt to do my own as well when my current PC packs up. Dad did it multiple times and he was a bit of an idiot so Im sure Id manage 🤣

I have a million pins on my Pinterest board for exactly how I want my desk set up too, which is honestly the most exciting bit. I *love* an Ikea trip, any excuse to buy plants

Definitely. And you get familiar with the parts that way. It's easier to clean later when you know what goes where, and you get to know what's not working when something goes wrong. One of my GPU fans grinds once in a while, but a good smack on the glass usually jiggles it back into place, haha.

Real, actually, this is just grown up Lego! I feel like I'll get far more satisfaction from building my own, too.

Oh I built my own PC, it's just like fancy Lego. Especially when you buy parts, new, everything comes with a manual showing you what to plug where if you're not sure. Just make sure you get that RAM pushed in properly or she won't boot (found that out the hard way). I ended up getting a second PSU because I thought that was the issue, turns out I'm just blonde! So I still have a PSU sitting around too.

My boyfriend has written out the spec and offered to build it for me, but I'm 100% convinced that it can't be *that* hard (and god forbid I feed a man's ego like that, even my man), so it's going to be me and youtube tutorial against the world

I have two RAM cards sitting around, actually. I built my rig with 2 8gb DDR4s and wanted two more recently to give her a bit more kick, I found some secondhand but it was a set of four. I only wanted to, the dude wanted all four gone, but he was a champ and let them go for the price of 2.

Oh that's not a bad shout for the future, then! I was about to build mine this Christmas, then RAM went through the fucking roof so I sacked it off for a few more months. I am gnawing at the bars of my enclosure to play BG3 after all this time :')

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite, which *technically* meets the minimum specs of League, but I'm not so sure it would be completely playable. If I had the funds to upgrade my actual PC (built it in 2017, the mobo is struggling at this point) then I could use the old bits to make a league-safe rig.
Oakmoss Stud
I run it on a knackered HP Pavilion on dogshit graphics settings and I manage, just about. If I play a few, she starts getting a bit warm and complaining, but generally it's not bad. Once I finally get around to building my PC, it'll be luxury in comparison

I do have a little laptop I picked up cheap secondhand that I was recently debating on trying to boot up League on. I'd have to pick up a new data sim though. Maybe I'll snag a prepaid sometime and just have a crack.

It is super invasive, in fairness. I play on my shitty, ancient laptop who begs for death every time I boot her up, so I'm less precious than I would be about a PC lmao

I really want to... but I'd have to get a separate PC on it's own isolated network. I really don't trust Vanguard, it goes way further than an anticheat needs to.
