Sage chuckled and nodded understandingly, but tugged the girl along for a few steps until she started hopping and started tugging him. He let her lead the way down to the lake happily, more than eager to spend some quality time with the girl. He lept back with a laugh when she flicked water at him, and sent a small splash back in her direction, a dumb smile on his face the entire time. They ran around for a few minutes, before he managed to catch the girl and wrap her up in his arms, and plant a somewhat deep kiss on her lips, pulling back after a few seconds with a mischievous grin on his face. "Gotcha," he chirped happily with a kind of silly giggle.

Mari squeaked when he started to chase her, trying to get away though ultimately failing. A laugh escaped her, though was cut off when he planted his lips on hers. Her laugh turned into a hum, and all she kissed him back more than happily. She felt a butterflies in her stomach for the first time in a good few weeks, and when he pulled away all she could do was grin. She pecked his lips again, a bit of a breath escaping her. "Unfortunately you do," she complained in a joking manner. She was certainly happy to have some time with him... this was fun. It has been ages since they'd gotten to act like kids... it was certainly nice.

Sage chuckled lightly when the girl just grinned dumbly up at him. The look she gave him made his stomach flutter, and once she pecked his lips again, they were both grinning dumbly. He let out a playful hum and cocked his head, studying the girl in an amused manner. "And what exactly should I do to you now that I have you," he hummed. He was really only playing around, though, if the girl seemed to want something more than some teasing, he of course would happily oblige. It was just nice to screw around like this...they always had to be responsible and take care of each other and Silas, and now they had some time to just...be them. Act their age. And it was definitely nice.

Mari couldn't help her smile from growing when she saw Ssges beaming dumbly at her, reflecting her own expression almost perfectly, but at his little comment her cheeks just blushed almost instantly. "I wasn't expecting that, Sage," she hummed lightly in amused manner, then pressed her hands to his chest. "What did you have in mind?" She asked in a slightly sultry tone. She leaned into him a little bit, though, a small smirk across her face. She's only just become how aware she was of how much she missed just being... young. Being able to have fun. They were barely in their twenties, and they both had jobs, and a child, we're looking and houses and planning on getting married... it was a lot. Being able to step back a bait and act like idiots for a little bit... was really wonderful.

Sage chuckled at her first comment and gave her a grin. "That's why I did it," he mused in an amused manner. When she learned into him, he caught the flirty tone to her voice and hummed in pretend thought, stepping closer to the girl and letting his lips barely brush her neck, eyes glinting. "I have some ideas," he hummed in a tone he knew the girl would find attractive. Well, she'd already said he was attractive, but he knew this would...further it a bit. He thought back to her comment before, when she called him...absolutely steaming, was it? It was rather amusing to say the least, but he fully intended to take advantage of it a little bit.

Mari rolled her eyes a little bit, a gentle smile crossing her face. "Well, of course," she humoured him with a small chuckle. She was still grinning up at him, and was more than happy when he stepped into her a little bit. She could feel his chest thumping against hers... and her heart was going fairly quickly by now. She felt tingles run up her spine after his lips brushed her neck, and drew a sharp breath in as her head instinctively moved to the side for him. He's barely touched her, and yet her whole body seemed to be on fire. "Yeah? Like what," she managed to force out, though her voice seemed strained as she tried to keep her words steady.

Sage chuckled at the girl's reaction and hummed lightly. "Why don't I show you, then," he hummed, pressing his lips to her neck softly, barely touching the girl, before pushing her back gently. They could take their time here...no one was around, and they had as long as they wanted to just mess about. He fully planned on letting himself get some love too, but right now he was just in the mood for this. He wasn't sure why, of how it came about, but he had a feeling that Mari didn't mind. She'd certainly been receptive to his flirting, after all.

Mari gave a kind of hum in response to him, her heart still pounding violently. Her cheeks couldn't really get any hotter now... but to be honest, she didn't care. She was just glad to spend some time with him again. She tried to say something in response, though, all that came out was an airy-sounding wine. She let him push her back without a struggle, really letting him manoeuvre her in any way he wanted. She wasn't used to seeing him like this in a way... of course, they'd done plenty together, but he'd normally just let her do whatever she pleased... this was quite honestly a nice change. They had all the time in the world just to mess around... they didn't really even have to do much, she just enjoyed her time with him.

Sage backed the girl up a bit, so they had plenty of room, and they were away from the water, before scooping her up and then laying down in an odd sort of move...he wasn't quite sure what had all happened, but now they were on the ground, and he was straddling the girl. Which admittedly, made his heart speed up a thousand times more. He'd been in this position before, but she'd placed him there...and this was different. A good different. And, from what he could tell, Mari seemed to like it too. So he could play with her for a bit before changing positions.

Mari let him walk her back, though at some point she'd let her hands rest on his shoulders... she'd let him play with her for a bit... after all, she was normally the one who got a say in what happened, but she was excited to see what Sage would do... he'd gotten her plenty excited already, and nothing really had happened... but she could feel his warm breath swirling around her collar and neck, and it sent a chill down her spine in the best possible way. Though, she was quite literally swept off her feet when he scooped her up and then placed her on the ground. She let out a bit of a squeak but laughed lightly once she had him hovering over her... he looked a little bit shell-shocked for a moment, though she didn't realise because she was too focused on the butterflies that were storming around her stomach, and her flush and the tingling of her skin... she wasn't sure why this was all coming in now, not when they'd already done this loads, but she certainly wasn't going to complain.
