Sage shrugged lightly at her comment. "I guess you'll have to wait until the wedding to find out," he chirped. He nodded happily in response to her other comment - the food was delicious. "It's pretty good," he hummed. "I like your cooking better though," he chuckled. Once they'd finished eating, they got up and he paid, more than happy to pay for his fiancee's meal. After that, they walked out of the building, and he looked around at all the shops nearby. "Where to first," he asked Mari, figuring she'd be better at shopping than him. He could handle the decorations....and, maybe decorating the cake, but that was it.

The girl stuck her tongue out at him after a few moments, just continuing with her food. She did like her own cooking, but it was nice to be treated every once and a while. She finished up just after Sage, and tried to pay, though he'd gotten to it first. She groaned and followed him out after a couple of moments. "I don't want to get too much today... I just wanted to get some nice ribbons before they all sell out," she told him with a bit of a chuckle. "What do you think of white and green? Might be nice with the setting," she hummed after a couple of moments, looking over the stand where they all were.

Sage was rather happy with himself for getting to the check before Mari, and then hummed and nodded in response to her suggestion. "We can do that," he chirped. "Today can be the beginning of getting basic decorations and stuff. I can make most of them, I'd just need materials and whatnot," he thought out loud. "Some ribbon and fake flowers maybe, for the setting," he hummed. Then he shrugged. "We'll look around and see," he chirped, walking to whatever shop was closest to them. He assumed she'd go dress shopping with her mother at some point, since she didn't seem like she'd want to bring Anya along with her. He didn't really mind, but whatever.

Mari smiled lightly at the boy before shrugging. "That sounds wonderful!" She told him with a grin. She was clearly buzzing for all of this... she couldn't wait actually to be married to him. She didn't think she'd find someone she actually loved... not so soon, and she certainly didn't think she'd already had a child with them. But here he was... so completely and utterly perfect in every way. She was so completely smitten with him. Yes, he had some issues that he needed help with occasionally... but she could be that person to help him, and she was grateful that he'd given her that chance. They soon finished up, and Mari had a few bunches of gorgeous fake flowers, and of course, the pretty white and green ribbon she'd mentioned. She wandered over to Sage with it, a grin across her face. "Do you like these?" She asked with a grin.

Sage had gotten distracted with some shiny knives while Mari paid. They'd combined their earnings to pay, so he had nothing to do, and he was admittedly quite easily distractible. He turned to the girl when she came up and nodded with a grin. "those are perfect," he chirped. He could work on decorations for the next few months, until the wedding, and he'd make sure they were perfect. "Do you want to save up for rings too, or do you want me to make the real ones," he asked after a moment. "There's a shop nearby if you wanted to look at prices."

Mari couldn't help her happy smile when he said he'd liked them. She wanted him to like his wedding too... it wasn't just for her. When he started to mention rings, her heart kind of dropped a little bit... they couldn't really afford a nice pair of rings, could they? She looked down at her hand before shaking her head. She really did love the ones he'd made. "I like these ones," she hummed quietly. "If you want to look, though, we of course can," she told him as she leaned in to peck his cheek. "I think whatever you'd make would be perfect, though," she chirped happily.

Sage was glad when the girl's face lit up when he said he liked the decorations. He hummed lightly when she said he could make rings. "I'll make them if you like that," he chirped. "It leaves more money for a dress and food or whatever. He did sort of feel bad he couldn't even afford a nice ring for her for her wedding day, but he knew she adored the one he'd made her, so he supposed it could be worse. He smiled lightly at her kiss and cocked his head slightly. "Is there anything else you want to get? Or anywhere else you want to go?"

Mari shook her head after a bit. "The lake? I want to go sit for a bit, somewhere quiet when it's still kind of warm," she mused lightly. "You could star gaze with me," she mused lightly, knowing full well it was a bit... cheesy. But, whatever. She really did just want to spend time with him... he was all she wanted as of then. Suddenly, her face wrinkled with worry. "Do you think Silas is alright?" She asked with a small frown. God, she hoped he was... the doctor would look after him, she knew that, but she was still a new mother... she'd be doing something wrong if she didn't worry.

Sage hummed and nodded happily. Laying around and star gazing did seem like fun...they'd just have to be on guard if they walked back to the castle in the dark. "That would be lovely," he chirped. The lake was beautiful through this time of year...and it was nice and warm out. It would be nice to just cuddle up with Mari and relax for a bit, and watch the stars. He cocked his head slightly at her question, though. "He's with the doctor, I'm sure he's fine," he reassured the girl. "There's no better person to be with." He worried too, but he worried about everything, so he'd gotten pretty good at ignoring some worries over the years.

Mari smiled lightly when he agreed to go to the lake with her. Everything had been so serious recently, with the baby and the wedding... and with Sage's new job, too. It would be wonderful just to mess around like kids for a little while, it really would. She nodded quietly when he said the baby would be fine... she did expect the doctor would know exactly what to do with the child, she just hoped to hell he was fine. "I know, I know... I just miss him," she mused lightly as they walked towards the space. She set their things down and wandered towards the lake, gently flicking some water up at him in a playful manner.
