Mercy tilted her head in thought, pursing her lips slightly and narrowing her eyes. "Good, I guess." She shrugged, smiling. She walked over to stand behind Ajax while he was at the Piano, barely able to look down over his head at the keys. "I like some rock, and I usually love any country song that comes on, so. I'm also into pop and stuff." She shrugged, plopping down beside him as he pulled a guitar out, only slightly surprised. "Again, some. More of a Green Day person, and I don't think that qualifies as rock." She chuckled.

"Hm. Pop." Ajax repeated after her with a slightly unpleasant look as he said the word, like it tasted bad or something. "Different people have different opinions." He finally settled on that, finishing the tuning of the guitar. Ajax then looked like a light bulb came on inside of his head as he grinned at Goose and Rooster. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" He asked. - Goose listened to the conversation with slight boredom, petting Rex and staring outside until he heard Ajax speak to him. He registered what the man said before grinning widely. "Yuppers." Goose said cheerfully, diving out the entrance and spinning in the air, following Rooster. - Rooster glanced over, nodding slowly as his wordless response. He took off from the entrance slowly and gracefully, obviously heading somewhere. - Ajax chuckled slightly as they left. "C'mon, if you thought we were musical before wait till you say this." He nudged Mercy with another grin, taking off out of the cave entrance, guitar in hand as he flew after Goose and Rooster. His chest and ribs still ached but he ignored it, too... excited to care. They went straight to the entrance of a cave nearby that was covered by vines. Rooster flew in, Goose crash landed in, and Ajax swooped in. Inside there was comfortable cushions lining the floor, looking much more sophisticated than Ajax's cave. A real chair sat in the corner along with a real couch on one side. At the back of the room a set of drums was set up, along with a guitar case and a holder for something else. - Rooster walked over to the side wall and took out a violin, tuning it up with a sweet, lonely sound. - Goose went to sit down at the drums with the widest grin he'd ever felt, whirling the sticks in his hands before striking a couple beats. - Ajax held his guitar in hand and walked to the middle, with Goose on his right and Rooster on his left. He started playing Back in Black by AC/DC with a fluid finger, almost better on this than he had been on the piano. He hit every note perfectly, by which then Goose joined with the drums and Rooster enhanced with the violin. "Back in black, I hit the sack, I've been too long I'm glad to be back yes I'm let loose, from the noose, that's kept me hanging about. I'm just looking at the sky, cause it's getting me high, forget the hearse cause I'll never die! I got nine lives, cats eyes, abusing every one of the, and running wild. Cause I'm back, yes I'm back, well I'm back, yes I'm back, well I'm back... back... I'm back in black. Cause I'm back in black..." Ajax's cheerful voice faded out after the first verse and the chorus. "Ok ok we have proved we can play... name a song and we will play it." He challenged himself with this, looking at Mercy for an answer

Also, remember when you talked about Grady? The Angel you obviously didn't like? The last thing he said to Ajax was 'watch your back' and I think you should do something with that haha. If you want//

Mercy rolled her eyes at his reaction to her taste in music. "Yeah, well, it's not like I walk around randomly bursting into song, unlike someone I know." She teased, raising her eyebrows at his sudden 'idea'. She had feeling it involved more singing. She watched as the other two dove out of the cave, giving Ajax a pitiful look. "Ajax, you didn't say I would have to move." She huffed, standing and flying after her him, taking her time. She landed lightly, glancing around and going to sit on the couch boredly. "Wow. Let me guess- I'm getting more of the sound of music?" She said sarcastically, stretching out. When they got through the song, she gave them a small round of applause, shaking her head at the 'challenge' with a small smile. "Eh, I'm alright. You don't like my taste in music anyway, and as much as I love the live band, I think I'm kinda music-ed out." She shrugged, slipping off the couch to walk to the entrance and sit down. She stared out at the forest below, then up at the dusky sky where the sun had just finished setting.

Ajax chuckled slightly but nodded, putting the guitar away. "Eh, I was just testing you to see how much you could take before you broke." He joked, walking over to the other side of the entrance. He tilted his head, feeling like he was being watched again. Ajax scanned the forest but saw nothing, so he relaxed again after glancing at Goose and Rooster, making sure they hadn't seen anything either. Both of them looked completely normal... for them. - Goose nodded and tucked his stuff away, flicking his wings before walking out. "Well it was nice seein ya Ajax, and you are not allowed to disappear again. See you tomorrow!" He drawled, sauntering all the way out of the cave and flying a short ways away to his. - Rooster nodded. "Do not disappear." He commanded shortly, instead disappearing into the trees at a walk.

Mercy chuckled. "Well, you broke me I guess." She said playfully, waving to Goose and Rooster as they left. She waited for both of them to leave before she stood and walked right to Ajax, wrapping her arms around him and flopping her head against his chest. There was a collective shudder of wind through the forest as this happened, but Mercy didn't seem to notice.

"At least I learned for next time." Ajax answered with a small smile, but it was slightly troubled. He, Mercy knew, had many experiences with sneak attacks out of the trees, or just attacks in general, and it made him cautious when it came to some things. If he was by himself right now he'd be perfectly fine and not worried at all... but he was worried that if there was someone out there that wanted to hurt him, they would either hurt Mercy to get to him or hurt her on accident. With these thoughts running through his head he was startled when she just came on over, cuddling right up against him. At this point Ajax knew enough not to shy away, and the fact that Mercy had accomplished that much was astonishing. He slowly, rather gingerly put an arm around her back like he had no idea whatsoever what to actually do but thought this might possibly work.

Mercy smiled at his hesitance, looking up at him. "You really are clueless when it comes to any kind of romance, huh?" She said playfully, shivering at a sudden blast of wind that made her turn around and look for the source. She saw nothing out of the ordinary and went right back to looking up at him.

Ajax's eyebrows just about shot off the top of his head. "You haven't figured that out yet?" He asked with an astonished voice, chuckling slightly and relishing the feeling of the cold wind. Ajax loved the cold... even though most demons loved the heat. Another thing that made him different from them. Ajax's eyes flicked across the forest again. He had never been wrong about something before... and when he had this feeling someone was always there.. but he saw nothing. No glimpse of black wings. No slight swish in the undergrowth. Nothing.

Mercy chuckled and nodded. "I should've figured it out by now, huh?" She joked, lifting her head up and gently raising a hand to toy with his hair for a moment. She gently pressed her lips to his in a soft kiss, ignoring everything else in the moment.
