Celeste Harlow - Celeste smiled, thankful she didn't have to ask for him to go out now. "Could you? That'd be great," she said gratefully. "You're too good to me," she said giggling, and smiled at him.

Sage chuckled softly and moved to peck her lips lightly. "You're good to me too," he hummed lightly, before wandering over towards the door. "I've been wanting to get out there anyway," he admitted. "I'll be back soon," he promised, hopping out the door happily. He'd been itching to go hunting. Try out the new territory. He hadn't gotten the chance yet....so while he knew he had to be quick, he knew he'd still enjoy his time.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste smiled. "Thanks, love" she said, kissing him back. "Okay, have a good hunt." she said and waved him goodbye.

Sage waved back as he slipped out the door, sort of wandering down a random trail and the off of it, dropping onto all fours and just...wandering around for a few minutes until he picked up a deers trail and his ears perked up. It was somewhat fresh.....and a nice deer would give a pretty decent amount of meat. He stayed there listening for a moment, and once he was sure which direction the deer had gone, he moved to follow the trail quietly, eventually coming across a small herd, and picked out the buck he wanted before shooting out of the undergrowth, wide grin spread across his face. It was a small chase, but thrilling all the same. It had been years since he'd been able to hunt like this. To get his heart pumping and his muscles straining. It didn't take long to make a flying leap at the animal and make the killing bite, snapping it's neck, and he let himself drop with it, rolling to avoid getting hurt and then grabbing it in his jaw and dragging it back home, still on all fours but quite happy with himself.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste watched Sage go walking into the forest before she turned back to the kitchen. She sighed and started wiping down the counters. After that, she got lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, and tomatoes. She cut up the veggies and tossed them into a bowl, making a salad. Once her and Sage's veggies were made, Celeste took another carrot, a banana, and an avocado and blended them in the blender. Since Lizzie was just a little over a year old, she should be eating baby food by now. She probably should've started eating baby food a while ago, but Celeste understood that Sage was busy at the tavern and probably didn't realize that it was time for Liz to start eating food.

Sage trotted along back to the house happily, full of energy now that he'd gotten out in the forest and had been able to what what literally all of his instincts had been yelling at him to do for...pertty much forever. It was certainly nice to finally have a healthy forest to go mess about in. Soon enough, he emerged from the trees and tugged the deer over to the back door, nudging it open and dragging it through the back room and into the kitchen, slithering around the side of the counter and dropping the deer next to Celeste happily. He was still sort of in 'wolf mode' if you could call it that, so he just crouched there happily for a moment, looking up at her with a dumb grin on his face before moving to get a knife to gut and skin the animal.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste was just finishing up when Sage appeared at the counter with the dead and bloody deer. "Wow, nice catch" Celeste admired the deer. Although, when Sage took out his knife to skin the animal, that was a no-go. "Hey, hey, hey! Alright wolfie, outside!" She said quickly, dragging the dead animal outside. "Preferably on the dock, it'll be easiest to clean up the blood, but your cleaning it up either way, so skin and gut it wherever, but not inside," Celeste said with a smile.

Sage sort of let out a huff of air when Celeste moved to drag the animal back outside, though it didn't quench the smile on his face, and he just rambled after her outside, knife in hand. "I'll hose it off later," he noted with a nod, grabbing the animal by its neck againnand dragging it off to the dock before crouching down by the corpse and getting to work, slicing through the pelt easily and then yanking it off in one fell swoop, tossing it to the side. He was done soon enough, and then moved to cut the meat into sections they could prepare and get into the freezer and such to save before it went bad.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste smiled and kissed Sage once, also licking up some of the blood off of his face before she left him to finish preparing the deer. Celeste went back inside and cleaned up the blood the deer had left on the floor when Sage dragged it in.

Sage couldn't help but let out a happy chuckle when she kissed him, letting her lick the blood off happily before moving to do all the stuff he needed to do with the carcass. He gathered up all the meat then and brought it back inside, but not before stretching the coat out between a few trees to dry out.hed make a blanket out of it later.
