Mercy stayed where she was, but sat up, dusting herself off and gently brushing some dirt off his shoulder. She looked up as Goose reappeared, offering him a smile. "Hey, welcome back, Goose." She joked, grinning at Rooster's explanation. She glared at Ajax over her shoulder as he spoke, rolling her eyes. She raised her eyebrows at Goose and shook her head. "No you won't." She scoffed, watching him get tossed away with a smile. "Rooster, don't listen to a word he says. He's exaggerating." She said teasingly.

Rooster raised his eyebrows slightly. "Hm. Yes, exaggerating. Agreed." He said curtly with a nod, a slightly irritated look coming into his brown eyes as Goose appeared again.

Goose flapped right back up with an indignant huff. "Kidnapped by Mercy? Aw, what's you two do?" He grinned, then remembered he was scared of her. "Neeeevermind sorry Mercy, not sorry Ajax." Goose lifted his hands and backed up, leaning against the wall next to Ajax and away from Rooster.

"ok, you're right, I exaggerated slightly. But I DID beg to get out a couple times, then gave up." Ajax pointed out with a snicker. "Plus you forced me to eat Alien food!" He finished with an extravagant wave of his hands, his eyebrows shooting up expressively.

Mercy grinned at Rooster, turning to stick her tongue out sarcastically at Ajax. She chuckled as Goose reappeared, raising her eyebrows at him. "Wise choice." She advised, getting to her feet and standing right where she was. She rolled her eyes and gave him a light shove into Goose. "You didn't beg, I took you on a walk, too. And I didn't force you to eat Chinese food, dingbat." She scoffed.

Ajax put a hand to his heart, looking offended. "I'm offended." He said, as if just to emphasize the already known point. He snorted slightly and held up his hand with a slight shocked look. "You did NOT take me on a walk I ESCAPED to find Rex. And oh yeah, Chinese food. And you did too, you didn't even give me an option on what to eat" He answered with a huff

Goose arched an eyebrow. "I know. I'm very wise." He mused, stroking his chin thoughtfully before looking confused when Ajax said Rex. "Um, I know that we call you Rex every once in a while, but you weren't looking for yourself. Who's Rex?" He asked quizzically

Rooster nodded to Mercy as she smiled, then turned his gaze to Goose, then Ajax. "What he said." Rooster commented, looking at Ajax, his gaze saying everything.

Ajax rubbed the back of his neck with a slight, meek smile. "Whoops. May have forgotten to tell you two I had a dog." He winced slightly

Goose widened his eyes. "You what."

Rooster tilted his head. "Hm?"

Ajax sighed and dove out the cave entrance, whistling. The big dog came loping up a couple seconds later. It had obviously followed Ajax and was, Ajax guessed, sitting in the cave. Rex gave a happy wolf, wagging every part of his body. "Cmon." Ajax grabbed the 230 pound dog and beat his wings with a groan, hauling Rex up the cliff side and into the medium sized cave, setting him down and sinking onto the floor. "He is HEAVY." Ajax moaned. Rex looked at everyone with a delighted expression that so clearly read *More friends! Yay!* He bounded over to Goose and hopped up, putting his giant front paws on Goose's shoulders. Rex was just as tall as Ajax if he stood on his hind legs, so he was taller than Goose. He gave Goose a big, sloppy kiss then repeated the process for Rooster. Then Rex padded over to Mercy and lovingly leaned against her legs, then sat down and stared up at her with a doggy smile.

"No, really?" Mercy mocked, leaning against the wall beside him with a small, permanent grin. She rolled her eyes. "Right, I let you go outside. I didn't you an option on what to eat because I knew what you would like. That saved hooours of wandering through that very long menu." She huffed. She chuckled at Goose's confusion over Rex, shaking her head. "Seriously, Ajax?" She scoffed, watching him dive away. She raised her eyebrows as he hauled the huge dog up a minute later. "He's bigger than you, what did you expect?" She grinned at Rex as he investigated the two new demons and then came to her. "Hello, my handsome boy." She purred, leaning closer to plant a kiss on the dog's forehead. She reached down to give him some head scratches, looking simply delighted with everything.

"It did not save hours because I would have just gotten good old American fast food," Ajax huffed, crossing his arms as he hauled himself off the floor and leaned up against the wall. "Plus if I DID have to get Chinese food, I'd probably just pick the first thing I saw on the menu. My decision making skills are quite honed when I actually want them to be." He grinned, then looked at Rex. "Well, um, I didn't expected to lose THAT much muscle while sitting at your house but apparently I did." Ajax made a face. When he could still, ya know, move, he flew Rex up into cliffs and into caves all the time. It had NEVER been this hard. Rex wagged his fluffy tail with thumps against the floor, sagging against Mercy and slowly sliding down into the floor, then rolling over and exposing his belly, looking at her expectantly. Ajax shook his head with a snort. "Rex, you got Mercy under your paw, don't you?" He asked with a grin.

Goose opened and closed his mouth, his eyebrows shooting almost right off his head. "Um, Ajax, you have a dog? How come we didn't know?" He asked, looking flabbergasted. "I've never seen a dog around you!" Goose huffed

Rooster nodded, seeming to agree with what Goose said but in a quieter way.

"Well, I was set on Chinese, and I always win, so. And if you did that on the menu, you would get something you didn't like and make your little grumpy face because of it." She huffed, rolling her eyes at his next comment. "Right, sorry for not wanting you to die." She huffed sarcastically, kneeling down to give Rex some belly rubs. She ignored the rest of the conversation to focus on Rex happily.

Ajax sighed slightly, looking back at Goose and Rooster to explain. "He hangs around. That's all. Sorry for not telling you." He offered a half-hearted apology, snorting a little at Mercy's next comment. Ajax sidled around to glance out the entrance after hearing a faint wingbeat, narrowing his glinting dark eyes and fixing them on the trees below. He felt like he was being watched, but he couldn't be certain, so he didn't do anything about it. "This is boring. Goose, Rooster, honors?" Ajax said with a grin, sitting down at the piano and looking at them.

Goose grumbled something under his breath but accelted Ajax's apology. When the man said the word *honors* his face lit up like the Fourth of July fireworks and he started the beat to We Will Rock You. Why not, it was boring. Goose stomped twice then clapped, looking at Rooster with an expectant nudge.

Rooster kept his mouth shut, but when he got nudged he sighed and started as well. It was a little boring. Just a little.

Ajax used the deeper keys on the piano and made it sound much better than he even thought it could sound. It sounded a lot more like the real tune and a lot less like a dainty piano. "Buddy you're a boy make a big noise playing in the street gonna be a big man someday, ya got mud on your face. Ya big disgrace. Kicking your can all over the place," Ajax started singing with his deep voice, though a lot more playful this time. "We willl, we will, rock you. We will, we will, rock you. Buddy you're a young man hard man shouting in the street gonna take on the world someday ya got blood on your face. Ya big disgrace. Waving your banner all over the place singing we will, we will, rock you. We will, we will, rock you. Buddy you're an old man poor man pleading with your eyes gonna make ya some peace someday ya got mud on your face. Ya big disgrace somebody better put ya back into your place singing We will, we will, rock you. We will, we will, rock you." Ajax finished out with a chuckle.

Mercy looked up to watch Ajax cross to the entrance, continuing to give Rex pets all the while. She raised her eyebrows at his comment. "I didn't think it was boring, but okay." She huffed, looking around to see both of the other men break into a beat. She rolled her eyes at how quickly they did so. "It's like watching a musical with you guys." She chuckled, copying them and listening through the song. "Y'know, I never would have pegged you as a Queen fan." She said sarcastically.

"A musical? Never had that one before. Well- is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Ajax asked with a grin, quietly playing 'Knockin on Heavens Door' as he spoke. "What can I say, I'm a rock fan. Metallica, Skillet, pretty much any big rock artist." He teased right back. "But I also like country. Rooster doesn't like country as much and likes rock, and Goose doesn't like rock as much and likes country. I even them out." He said cheerfully, slowly playing Wasted On You by Morgan Wallen this time. "But rock songs are hard to accomplish on the piano..." Ajax pointed out, reaching behind the piano and grabbing a hidden guitar case. He opened the clasps and pulled out a dusty old guitar that, under the dust, still did look in great condition. "Do you listen to any rock music?" He inquired as he tuned the guitar
