Sage raised his head and looked up at the girl when she eventually spoke up and shrugged. "I'm not sure," he hummed. "Do you have games you like to play," he asked. "Preferably ones that my eyes don't matter much in," he noted with amusement, since they both knew his eyesight was still rather messed up. It was getting better, but still.

"Hmm... well there's this very special game... no use for eyes. It's called sleeping." Quinn smirked, joking around. She really didn't want to sleep... she had already slept too much that day. "Well, I asked you because I can't think of anything. Just throw SOMETHING out there. Anything, really. Or let me think of what I used to play... I didn't. Okay..." Quinn thought hard, then her eyes lit up. "Well there was some girls in the town that played a couple games. Like.. hide and seek, tag, and truth or dare." Quinn laughed, knowing those games were the *foundation* of all games really. The simplest, everyone plays the, kind of game. She really had no idea what to play

Sage hummed lightly and shrugged, giving the girl a rather sheepish grin. "Well, those are all new to me. Unless you count hiding from my father hide and seek." He wrinkled his nose slightly and shook his head. "My childhood sucked," he noted with a chuckle. "I was never able to act like a child...I always had to be the perfect prince." He rolled his eyes when he said the last comment. "But since hide and seek required good eyesight, we can play truth or dare," he chirped. Edited at April 19, 2023 10:20 AM by NightClan

Quinn furrowed her eyebrows. "Poor you..." she murmured, looking sad. "Anyway, yes, we can play truth or dare. No eyesight required." Quinn suddenly got a mischievous smile on her face. "Unless I tell you to walk into a tree..." she giggled, running a hand through her hair. "You can go first." Quinn smiled, still trying to not snicker at the thought of him running into a tree,...

Sage shrugged at her first comment and then chuckled with an eye roll at her comment about making him run into a tree. "You're so mean to me," he huffed playfully. Then he started to say something and stopped, cocking his head. "Wait....does that mean I say truth or dare first or ask you the question first," he asked, rather sheepishly. "I'm not totally sure how it works," he chuckled. It seemed rather stupid to ask, but he really just had forgotten how this game worked. He knew the gist of it, but who does what first was beyond him right then.

Quinn chuckled. "So you would say truth or dare, in this instance I am going to say dare so you can skip that part, and you say a dare. Easy." Quinn wrinkled her nose, rolling her shoulders and glancing up at the sky. She drew her knees up to her chest and moved so she was facing him, waiting for an answer.

Sage chuckled and nodded, a light flush of embarrassment covering his cheeks. "Right, ok," he laughed. "Uhhh...I dare you to telle the most embarrassing story you have," he chirped. She'd asked for it so...he wanted something to tease her about. She had plenty on him, so it was fair. Besides, he liked seeing her embarrassed...she was cute when she blushed.

Quinn rolled her eyes. "How many embarrassing stories do you think I have? My whole life was sneaking out to run away to the woods. The most embarrassing that's ever happened was something that happened with you.. so that's unhelpful. I guess for me.." she seemed thoughtful. When had she been around people... "I guess when I was wandering around town, a soldier walked up to me and attempted to kiss me. That was the only embarrassing part. The other half was I punched him in the nose, broke it, and he ended up bawling like a baby." Quinn smirked. Even with the funny part of the story... a very slight blush had still rose to her cheeks. She didn't exactly know why; she had kicked that soldiers butt.... but still. Edited at April 19, 2023 11:29 AM by Wild Warmbloods

Sage cocked his head to listen to the girl and chuckled with a shrug. "That's fair," he admitted. He certainly had been embarrassed to kiss her at the wedding. Well, getting married in front of the whole town at all was embarrassing. But still. He felt a smile grow on his face when she told the story, since he couldn't help but be both proud and amused. "Well, breaking people's noses does tend to make them bawl like a baby," he hummed, his face showing his amusement. "Ok, your turn to ask me then," he chirped. "Though, I'll probably always choose dare," he admitted.

"Well then I'm refraining from asking, since you almost just said dare." Quinn chuckled. She thought for a moment... then another moment. "Why don't you tell your most embarrassing story? I dare you to." Quinn told him. She was almost daring herself... to see how red she could make his face. Throughout the whole game Quinn decided to do anything she could to make Sage look like a tomato... just so he could tease him about it afterward.
