Caden looked up into her eyes, his red and dull. |

"Caden..." She said softly, trying to touch his face but failing |

He took her hand and held it to his face, strumming his thumb across the back of it. |

Rose looked deeply into his eyes, looking for any fire that usually burned there. Nothing. "What's wrong, my love?" She asked softly |

"I'm just tired, is all." He lied, keeping it away. |

"Then sleep." She pleaded softly |

"I do, Rose, I do." Sometimes, other nights im too worried, he thought, pushing the thought away. |

"Sleep now." She offered soflty, stifling a coughing fit. She bagn coughing after a while, though, and tried to stop. No blood, but she was worried there would be after she coughed for a solid 3 minutes before stopping. |
