(lol sounds good) The day passed quickly, and by 7:00 Iris was getting worried that Caden hadn't texted her yet. Yeah, he probably had finals, but those ended at 3:00 or so. He couldn't still be studying, could he? She was pretty sure he only had two class finals left tomorrow, and she had four. Concerned, Iris send a message. -Hey, you good?-

Caden didn't text back, now very interested in one of the girls from earlier who were shocked him and Iris were together. "Well Russia...might just want to tell me your name, y'know~" She said smoothly, Caden chuckling as he took another swig of liquor. "It's Caden," He slured, the girl nodding with a smirk.

Iris was done with her studying by 8:30, and feeling pretty good. Except for the fact that Caden still hadn't texted back. She sent a quick message to Kinley, hoping she would look at her phone. -Call me- Iris waited for eight agonizing minutes before her phone vibrated and began ringing, making her jump. She saw the caller ID and breathed a sigh of relief, swiping to answer. "Hi, Kinley." Kinley's voice was concerned and energetic. "Iris, what's this about? Your text was so ominous it scared me!" Iris laughed nervously and replied, "Caden hasn't texted me back. I saw him in the hall in the afternoon but I haven't seen him or heard from him since. I sent a message an hour and a half ago. Usually he answers within 30 minutes, and I know for a fact that he doesn't have any more classes."

The girl left from his vision, the man seeing double, if not triple of everything around him, continuing to drink more and more until he didn't even know what was going on. All he heard was the music and voices overlapping eachother, feeling like he could live forever.

Kinley replied to Iris over the phone. "That is weird. Maybe you can find one of his friends and ask where he went?" Iris shook her head, even though she knew Kinley couldn't tell. "I don't even know who his friends are anymore. He had a group of guy friends the first week I met him but I haven't seen them around him since. Plus they're Russian and I can hardly speak it."

The girl came back, dragging him off to somewhere quiet. Eventually one of his friends found him and dragged him away, driving him to his dorm where the man walked in and collapsed on his bed, drifting off immediately. - He woke the next morning, sober'd up, and walked over to the bathroom, throwing up the last night's contents, feeling much better besides the pounding headache he had. He stood with a groan, walking to the sink to brush his teeth, catching sight of the numerous marks on his neck. "No...no no no no" He muttered, mind racing as he brushed his teeth, wondering how to cover them up.

Iris woke up the next morning feeling awful. She tried to get out of bed, but a wave of dizziness caught her and she stumbled to the ground. Kinley, who happened to be about to leave, rushed to help her friend into bed again. "You're sick, Iris, you have to stay in bed," she concluded, after taking her temperature. "But I have to meet Caden at 10:00," she protested, but was gently pushed back down. "No. Text him that you're not feeling well and can't go. I don't want you throwing up on your date." Reluctantly, Iris did so, falling asleep soon after. -Can't make it downtown today, have a fever.-

Caden's phone dinged, the man picking it up and checking the text, sighing in relief. -aw man, was looking forward to today :( - Was all he texted, the man huffing a laugh as he flopped back down on his bed, relieved--yet still hungover as his head started pounding once more.

Iris saw the text when she woke up, feeling a little better. She immediately felt guilty about getting sick, even though she knew it wasn't her fault. -Me too. I'm sorry.- She managed to make a bowl of oatmeal and eat it without gagging, which was a relief. After eating, she lay back down in bed and tried to read a book.

-no need to apologize, sickness hits randomly, hope you feel better soon♡- Caden sit the text, double checking his suitcase to make sure everything was packed, tossing on a hoodie before pulling the hood up to hide the bruises, starting to roll the bag out to his car.
