Max nodded, heading in the direction of her parent's house.

He squeezed it, looking over and giving a small smile as he pulled into the driveway. "What a wonderful way to meet the parents," Max muttered, getting out.

Kylie bit her lip, getting out, taking his hand.

Kylie led him to the front door, knocking. Her mother answered the door. "Kylie? What are you doing here?" she asked. "What happened?" she asked as Kylie started to cry, "Oh honey, honey," she murmured, rushing to her and hugging her.

Max stood awkwardly at the door, leaning on the doorframe as he was unsure to come in or not.

"Come in, come in," she ushered them both inside while comforting her daughter. "Its okay, darling," she whispered.

Max lingered by the door, unsure what to do as the space was filled with an awkward silence. He didn't know how to react, all he wanted to do was cry yell or hit something---he couldn't decide. He felt bad, the reason he wanted to cry and also because he failed to be there when she needed him, yell because the doctors simply pulled a 'okay heres what it is, bye' and hit something, preferbaly her assaulter's face.
