"Well, glad to know i'm not crazy yet." She said, laughing gently. She was drifting in and out of sleep, tired but refusing to fall asleep again

Elijah smiles, stroking her head. "Sleep love" he coaxes

"No." She said, defiant

Elijah sighs, kissing her head. "If I sing you and the baby a lullaby will you go to sleep?"

"I don't want you to have to do all of the work around here, and I feel guilty when you do...." She said, snuggling into his side deeper

Elijah smiles, "It's okay babe. You're doing a lot already" he reassures her

"But am I? I only have to carry them for 3 more months, but i'm still slacking on my responsibilities. I hate that I don't have the energy or strength to do everything I used to with you. You're working your ass off and i'm sitting in here, using up your time." She said, a tear rolling down her cheek

Elijah wipes her tears away with a gentle graze of his thumb. "Hey love. Look at me" he says holding her close. "You are not a waste of time" he tells her, stroking her hair.

She looks up at him and kisses him. "I just hate that I can't help." She said, looking down again

Elijah smiles, "I know, I know love"
