"Rosa,as I said.Im fine." Caden walked out of the cabin to Ricochet's stall.He sat down in the shavings as the stallion layed down. "Im sorry buddy.You were limping when I saw you,im sorry."

Rosa felt torn, she knew Caden needed to care for himself too. She sighed, wondering if she should go now or stay. She wasn't sure what Caden needed.

The stallion nickered softly,igniting hope in Caden.He realized it was a nicker of worry and hurt,the flame in Caden sputtered until it was ashes.He sighed before continuing to stroke the stallions face.

Rosa sighs, unsure how to help Caden. Her phone buzzes with a text I can tell you why you should leave him. I know what he's not telling you. Rosa looked at the text, it was from an unknown number.

Ricochet nipped at Caden fingers,causing him to chuckle.Brock texted him. Hey,when do you think you'll be ready for duty? Caden stared at the phone screen,wondering. when ricochets better

Rosa decides not to reply, thinking on if she should indulge in this info or allow Caden to tell her himself

Caden sighed,knowing Ricochet would be hurt for many more days,possibly weeks,even months.His favorite horse was now lame and he could'nt wait to see him prancing around in the pasture,as he always did.For now though,he could just sit in his stall.

Rosa goes to Caden's room, knowing he wouldn't be back yet, and put many more blankets and even a diffuser to help him sleep. She then left a note on the bedside table before taking the dogs and driving back home.

Caden heard the sound of a car speed off,knowing Rosa had left.He got up before saying goodbye to Ricochet and heading inside.He saw the note and read it before tacking it on a board.
