Celeste Harlow - Celeste gaped at Sage, not really knowing what to say. What do you say to someone who's wife murdered their child? "Sage...." she started quietly. "I'm so sorry... thats awful... I can't believe she would do something like that..." Celeste hugged him tighter, burying her face in his chest. "I promise, I will never do anything like that to our children."

Sage sighed quietly and nodded, quiet for a moment but then pressing a kiss to her head and squeezing her gently. "I know," he hummed lightly. "I'm just glad she's gone," he admitted with a small shake of his head. It was a shock to walk in on her corpse like that, sure, and it had led to a lot of bad things like the tavern.... But overall it had been a good thing he thought.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste nuzzled his chest, shifting to bury her face further into him. "I promise you'll never have to go through anything like that again," she promised, her voice a bit muffled from his shirt. "I'm gonna love you till the day I die... we're gonna have dozens of wild little wolfie babies, all under this roof... our big family... my family, with the love of my life...."

Sage couldn't help but chuckle softly in response to her comment, wrapping his arms around her tighter as she snuggled in. "I know," he murmured. "We're going to have a good life here," he added, fully determined for that to happen. He wasn't going to allow anything bad to happen to his family...not now. Not now that he could finally be happy and be able to love them. And have them all love him back.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste smiled, imagining it all. She stayed quiet for a bit, just cuddling before she grew restless. "I'm hungry, do you want dinner?" she asked, looking up at him.

Sage was more than happy to just lay around for a while, but when she spoke up he grunted and nodded. "I am hungry, now that I think about it," he noted lightly, peering down at her. "What sounds good?"

|
|
Celeste Harlow - Celeste nodded. "I don't know." she contemplated. "I'm not sure what we have either..." she said getting up, tucking her hair behind her ear. Celeste walked over to the kitchen and checked the fridge and freezer. "We're out of meat..." she frowned.

Sage sort of chuckled and nodded in response to her comments. 'lets find out then," he mused lightly, getting up and following her into the kitchen. "That's ok," he mused. "I can go hunting later. Get some more," he noted lightly.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste closed the fridge and turned back to Sage. "Yeah, I guess so...." she mumbled. Celeste was hungry now, but she didn't know how to tell Sage that without sounding too rude or demanding.

Sage sort of raised an eyebrow in response to her comment with a soft chuckle. "I can go now, you know," he noted, more amused than anything. "I'm not working or anything so I may as well make myself somewhat useful," he added, joking about it but it was sort of true.
