Tyler stood and helped pour the stuff into bowls, handing them out. "Thanks." He told Regan, gently taking his bowl and turning his broad shoulders, walking over to the now black table. His father gave him a side smile before turning back to talking. Tyler clenched his jaw a moment, letting out a slow breath and eating the food.

Regan rolled her eyes when she saw his father give him a little smirk. The man just needed to leave Tyler alone... he was a good kid. He didn't deserve to be pretty much bullied by his own father. She wandered over to the table with Tyler Honestly, she was getting a little bit protective of him now. People were horrible to him, and there wasn't really any reason for it. She had a feeling he'd be a bit... almost safer if he had her with him, especially considering she got along with most people.

Tyler glanced over a tree Regan. "Thanks... I need mental support. I think I'm going crazy." Tyler sighed, glancing away into the bushes. He then looked at the people Regan usually sat next to. They were fidgety... Tyler knew exactly what they were thinking. They couldn't decide which was more important, staying away from him or staying with Regan. They ended up staying where they were. Tyler placed his head in his hands. "I know I'm not the most open person.... but am I really that bad?" He asked quietly, glancing at Regan, his gaze sad.

Regan chuckled at him before sitting down happily. God, this was like school. It seemed like everything you did was being watched and judged. She hated it, she really did. But this wasn't school, and quite honestly she didn't care what these people thought. She glanced back, though whoever she normally sat with were pretty much glued to their seats. That was fine. She didn't like them much anyway... she preferred spending her time with Tyler. He was pretty cool, really... he was an interesting person. She looked to him quickly at his comment, though. "What? No, who said that?" She asked quickly. Nope. She refused to let him believe he was bad... he was wonderful, and he knew she thought that. "Tyler, you're not bad at all. You're a fun person, so don't let any of this get to you," she told him quickly.

Tyler held back a groan. He lifted his head and nodded. "Okay... I just don't know what I'm doing wrong." He fingered a dagger for a second before finishing the food quickly, seemingly lost in thought. "They seem scared of me. I know I don't talk that much with anyone that's not you, and I might not come up to them.., but why would they be scared of me?" He asked, shaking his head. Tyler believed Regan... he really did... but he was more confused now.

Regan cocked her head at him. "Maybe you should stab them, that might help," she joked, referring to how they'd first met. "Just go be interesting. I know you don't like her, but Lily get on with most people. Go and ask her to introduce you to people. People are still a bit weary of me, so it's probably better that you do it rather than me," she told him after a few moments. "And, well, you're huge. It's hard not to be intimidated by you," she hummed gently.

Tyler glared at her. "That COMPLETELY does NOT help," he said... yet his voice carried a tone of amusement. He dropped his head as she talked about how Lily knew people. That wouldn't be fun... maybe it wasn't worth it. At Regan's last comment Tyler let out a short laugh. "Are you saying I'm fat?" He snorted, looking very amused. He knew that wasn't what Regan was saying... but still... he had to take the chance to joke around when he could.

Regan snorted out a laugh as he glared at her. "What? It's a good idea! Just walk up to someone and shove a knife in them, see what happens," she told him with a chuckle before resting her head in her hands as she grinned at him. "We get on alright, no?" she joked to the boy. She then gasped at him and shook her head. "I never said you were fat!" She told him with a laugh. She jumped up and wandered over to him. "Look, I'm standing and you're sitting - I'm only a tiny bit taller than you right now!" She told him with a chuckle.

Tyler rolled his eyes. "I think you are just special. My great thought of the day... That would only work with you." He said sarcastically, thinking of how much he had changed since he met Regan. He let out a laugh as she gasped, looking at her. She was right.... he was still almost taller than she was. "Okay okay, I get your point." Tyler chuckled as well, his eyes glimmering happily.

Regan grinned at him, poking her head over his shoulder with a bit of a laugh. "I'm very special. But I'm just thinking how amazing it is that I didn't just stab you back," she joked to the boy. Well, it was pretty interesting to say the least. She normally would have... but she was glad she hadn't. She actually really liked the boy. He'd been though so, so much... and she was glad, that out of all the people he could have tried to get on with, he'd chosen her not to kill. It was odd to think of things like that, it really was, and kind of amusing, but all the same, she was glad. She wanted to look after him, even if he was about twice her size and three times her weight. Her family loved each other, but they did really look after one another very well... she'd tried to care for her siblings, so she supposed she was trying to care for him in that exact same way. She ruffled his dark hair up before smiling and wandering around to the other side to plop down in her seat again. "Did you get to see the sunrise this morning? Was it pretty?"
