Sage chuckled and nodded, humming lightly. "We thought so," he chirped in agreement. "She's fine now, she lost a lot of blood during labor and had to stay in bed for about a week, but she's back to work and all the rest," he informed Anya happily. "We've been switching off watching the little guy. I work once she's back sort of thing," he hummed. He chuckled slightly and shrugged. "I would have shown him off to ya before, but with Mari not able to get out of bed I couldn't exactly just leave," he noted with a bit of sheepish amusement. He really was excited to show Anya the baby, though...and he was glad she seemed so excited to see him. He knew she hadn't been super thrilled when he'd first told her Mari was pregnant....but she'd still supported him, which he definitely appreciated. He hadn't wanted to gain Mari but lose Anya.

Anya nodded lightly to him before shrugging. "Well, that's good. As long as you're both well," she chirped before looking down at the child, who was still looking between them with a bit of a dribbly smile on his face. She still wasn't the biggest fan of Mari... but Sage was happy, and that was all that mattered. And, she had to say, he was one hell of a cute baby. He had his family now. "No, no it's fine. You needed to look after them," she told him lightly. She then poked the child lightly, getting a giggle from him. "Oh, he's adorable," she hummed lightly.

Sage hummed and nodded in response to Anyas comment before shrugging. "It's been busy, but we figured it all out," he hummed. "Luckily, he's not up through the night as much as Att was. And, I have help." He grinned at Anya calling Silas cute...he really was a cute baby, and no doubt he'd grow up to be quite the handsome man. He supposed he'd look like him, but without the scars and worry lines and years forced upon his shoulders. "he's amazing," he chirped. Then he chuckled. "You should have seen Mari and I sobbing when we first got him," he noted with an amused tone.

Anya chuckled lightly and shook her head before sitting up a little bit. "I was thinking you don't look that tired... I remember how weary you were when we got Att," she mused lightly. Att had always been quite a lot of work... she wasn't sure where this had all come from, though. She hummed at his next comment before letting a small laugh escape her. "Not sure Mari would want you telling me how the two of you were sobbing," she mused lightly before shaking her head. She then groaned and rolled her eyes. "I need to hurry up and find myself a new fiance if I ever want an heir," she murmured with a sigh.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded. "Lizzie was almost as bad as Att...I was preparing myself for that again. It's wasn't so bad as I thought it would be," he admitted. "Even when I was up at night to feed him, I could nap through the day with Mari watching him." He shrugged lightly and gave the girl a grin. "Yeah, and I'm not gonna explain any more cause that came out before my ego kicked in," he joked lightly. They both knew he didn't have any kind of ego, not really. Then he cocked his head and hummed lightly. "Find someone you actually love," he hummed. "You don't have an obligation to another kingdom now....make yourself happy," he told her gently, patting her leg lightly. "You've got plenty of time....you're mom's still kicking just fine so you won't need an heir for a while," he noted with amusement. "In the meantime, you can help plan my wedding," he noted, a kind of joking and mischievous light growing in his eyes.

Anya smiled lightly and nodded in agreement to him. "Att was awful as a baby," she mused lightly before shaking her head at him. "At least he's quiet. It means you'll both be able to work without falling asleep," she mused, shaking her head once more. She was happy for him... he seemed so much more at ease now, and it was nice to see. He was always on edge, and he just seemed... light. "You and your oh-so-big ego," she teased lightly, knowing the boy didn't really have such a big ego... not compared to a lot of people she knew up here. She then rolled her eyes at his next comments. "God, that woman is never going to die," she chuckled lightly. "But I don't really care... as long as they aren't likely to start a war, we'll be just fine," she hummed happily. She then looked over to her desk in the corner. "I have work to do... I don't expect you'll want to stay," she hummed lightly.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "The boy's definitely a lot of work," he hummed. "Now and then." He hummed lightly and nodded at her next comment, pretty satisfied with how things had gone with Silas. He was an incredible baby...even now, he was just looking between the two of them curiously but silently besides a few quiet coos when he recognized Sage's voice. He snorted out an amused laugh at Anya's comment about her mother. It was quite true...she seemed to be immortal. She didn't look like she'd aged a day since he'd last seen her, which was years ago. He shook his head when Anya said she had work to do and stood up with a grunt. "No, I don't think I could sit still that long," he chuckled. "I should head back anyway so Mari doesn't come back to an empty room and freak," he noted with amusement, making Silas' floppy hand wave at Anya before he slipped out the door to head back to his and Mari's room.

Anya nodded in agreement to him... she'd have to go and grab Att later, then get back to work. "He has his moments," she mused lightly. She did love the child... she just wished he'd stop acting out so much. She looked down at the child as he started to coo with a bit of a chuckle. He was a sweet baby... she hoped it'd stay that way for Sage, because he was obviously very proud of his child, as anyone would be... but this was something Sage had always wanted, so it was nice to see that he actually had it now. "See you in a bit," she called after him before forcing herself up and towards the tutor.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded as he slipped out the door. He bounced along back to the bedroom, much to Silas' delight. The boy liked the up and down movement, it seemed, which was more than fine with Sage since he was eager to get back anyway. The room had sort of become a safe haven or sorts...like his old room and the barn out with chaos and mystery. Plus, he was excited to see Mari. He knew he'd seen her that morning, but he missed her whenever she wasn't with him. Silas had started to coo hungrily when they were almost back, so once they were in the room sage grabbed a bottle and sat down to nurse the boy happily. He was glad that everything had gone so well, and was proud to show him off to Anya a little bit.

Mari was working up in the queen's quarters, as usual... well, she was talking the woman ears off about their newborn baby... she was obviously tired of listening to the girl, but Mari just never seemed to stop. She was going on about their engagement, too... she was just excited about everything going on in her life, and while the queen probably didn't care about whatever the maid had to say, Mari just felt the words spilling out. But by the time her shift had ended, she was exhausted, though still excited to get back to Sage and Silas. She bounced through the door with a bit of a smile, just to see Sage in the corner, nursing the child quietly. She grinned at the sight before wandering over and pressing a light kiss to his head lightly, then ducked to the baby with a smile, pecking his temple and babbling something babyishly to him, which gained a happy coo from the child.
