Nathan Croft - Nate shifted, now holding his own weight above her. "What about, darling?" he asked. "You know you can tell me anything,"
"It's not anything bad, really." She said, pausing. "Just thinking about my hope for our future" She said quietly. "Still want to go see the sunset?" She asked, changing the topic
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate sat up, clearly not believing her. He obviously had some serious trust issues. "Don't lie to me, darling,"
"Of course I wouldn't lie to you" She said, taken by surprise
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate was really relearning how to trust here, and it obviously wasn't going great. He crossed his arms. "Then why are you being so weird about what you were really thinking about?"
"I didn't want to worry you" She admitted, now concerned. "What reason would I have to lie to you? I'm not that kind of person. I was thinking of how you and I would maybe one day get married and have a child, that's all. Daydreaming."
| |
Nathan Croft - "Oh- uh..." Nate stuttered, really embarrassed now. He definitely wanted those things, but now she knew how little trust he had. Not just in her, in everything and everyone.
"Sorry. I should've just said that first. It's just not something I go around telling everyone"
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate shook his head. "No, its my fault... I should've trusted you more..." he said ashamed, looking down.
"It's fine" She said, taking his face in her hands. "Honestly."
