"I know, but it's still hard." She said, playing with the tablecloth
| |
Elijah nods, leaning in to kiss her

Dakota kisses him back. She sighs, still tired. "I have a lot of sleep to catch up on when the baby gets here. But i'll only lose more.... Also, did you want to talk to your family and see if anyone wants to help do the baby shower? 'Cause I kinda want to know ASAP...."
| |
Elijah chuckles, "I can always take our child with me on errands so you can sleep". Elijah smiles. "My cousin has been begging me to let her help, so..." he chuckles again. "She has two children of her own, and she misses planning things so she really wishes to help"

"Perfect. You can contact her and I can sleep." She said, getting up and wandering to the bedroom. She climbed onto the bed and sighed, her hands on her belly .
| |
Elijah chukles, but pulls out his phone. He called his cousin. He pulled the phone away from his ear when she squealed in excitement.

Dakota waited for the verdict in the bedroom
| |
Elijah walked back in, rubbing his ear. "She was more than excited" he tells her. "And I think she destroyed my eardrums with her excitement"

Dakota giggled and patted the spot next to her. She leaned on him, closing her eyes again. "I'm terrified and excited at the same time. Is that wierd?" She asked
| |
Elijah strokes her hair. "I feel the same, so no I don't believe so"
