Zephyr glanced back at Sophia before running a hand through his spiky hair. "I'm sure Blake isn't going to be the most liked person in the school after this." He commented with a small sigh before looking at her again. "I can help with that, if you want. Stupidly, unlike you, I drove to school. So if you need a ride, I can bring you home. And don't worry, I'm awake now." He joked with a half smile.

"I was about to say! Why did you drive though!" Sophia put her hands on his shoulders and turned him toward her.

Zephyr shrugged slowly. "I have no idea. I was too sleepy to think. But hey, I'm alive, so it worked out!" He answered with a slight grin, making the mistake of looking at her eyes. They just reminded him so much of a Neverending green portal, like it went on forever and would portray any secret.

Sophia shook her head. When his eyes met hers she couldn't look away. Not like she wanted to anyway. "Thanks. Ryan can't pick me up because he's stopping by his dorm for some clothes. He's staying with us until my game then leaving after" she was finally able to pry her eyes off of his and looked down at her hands on his shoulders, pulling them into her lap.

+Look away, look away! I swear she's like Medusa! I look at her eyes and poof, I'm frozen like a stone+ he thought with a slight huff, glad when she at least managed to pull her gaze away. "My pleasure. OOO I can also set a booby trap on your balcony door so if Blake tries to get in again he gets shot with a nerf gun or gets paint dumped on him or gets smacked in the face!" Zephyr joked with a wide grin. "I could literally do that, but I have a feeling you wouldn't want me to. Your game is tomorrow, right? Mine is in two days so I should be able to come." He explained, fiddling with the hem of his shirt as he thought.

"I would rather him get nerfed then have to scrub paint off of my balcony at two in the morning so m parents don't find out" she smiled "yeah. Tomorrow. I really need sleep or I'm going to pass out on the field. " she rolled her eyes before looking around. People were starting to gather their things. "I guess the bell is about to ring. I'll see you later" she smiled. She had practice. Oh how she was going to die tonight

"My brother has a Nerf gun I can steal that is particularly painful." Zephyr sounded too cheerful about that. He nodded at her words, wincing at the thought. "We'll both need some sleep." He answered before glancing at the clock. "See you later." Zeph nodded and grabbed his stuff, evacuating. He then went to his classes, and lastly basketball practice. Zeph did the worst he had done all year because he was exhausted, but he still wasn't a horrible shot. Afterwards he changed back into normal clothing and headed towards the softball field with a yawn.

Sophia ended up prying her eyes open to stay awake during her last classes. When she got to practice, Coach stopped her. "You look awful!" She sat ehr down. "Are you ok?" Sophia nodded and grabbed her glove. "I'm still able to practice. " she said as she pulled her glove on and picked up a softball. Coach raised her eyebrows. "Ok. Toss it and catch it" Sophia nodded and did just that, except the ball fell to the ground. "Whoops" Choach out a hand on her back. "Hey. Get some sleep and be ready to play tomorrow. We can't afford to lose you. She gave her a shove toward the bleachers before going out onto the field. Sophia started to protest then stared at her. She wasn't letting her practice? She gulped and walked up the bleachers, sitting in the middle of the stands and watching the practice.

As Zephyr approached the bleachers he realized Sophia wasn't out in the field, instead up in the stands. He quickly climbed up there and sat down. "Why are you up here?" He inquired with slight concern, worried she had gotten hurt or something. Zephyr could never help but worry. It was built into his genes.

"Coach said I can't practice today. I still get to play tomorrow if I'm not tired. " she rolled her eyes. "I don't understand why" she leaned against the stand behind her. "Now I get to sit and watch them play" she sighed and glanced at Zephyr.
