Tyler was very slowly unlocking the inner part of himself he never knew he had. On the inside he may have seemed like a foot thick wall of solid steel... but if you get past that, on the inside he really is a kind person. He likes helping others, and has feelings. Tyler wants to have friends... he just wants them to be loyal. Trustworthy. The friends he does have he grows very attached to... and he would protect them and the things they care about with his life.

Regan slept peacefully though the night, only really waking up when Lily showed up again. She didn't exactly try and let her sleep, did she? She just seemed to like causing any kind of inconvenience to Regan she could... Regan had been nothing but nice got he girl, so she couldn't really wrap her head around why she was so horrible to her. Whatever. They just needed to learn to get along if they were going to be sharing a room together. Maybe she could ask the girl in the morning. Yeah, she'd try that. Not that she'd get a grate answer.

Tyler woke in the morning, before the sun rose. He decided it wasn't worth it to wake Regan up.. she would probably be mad at him if he did. Tyler climbed up and watched the sunrise quietly. He woke up a lot earlier than most people... it was just, him. Tyler' she eyes sparkled as he got ready for the new day... and the sitting by himself.. again. His shoulders dropped just slightly, and after the sun finishing rising, he swung down out of the tree. Tyler grabbed his bag on the way down, dropping out and landing with a thump. He stretched his arms above his head and put the bag on the ground, going over to the cooking place to start heating up water for stew. It was the least he could do for Regan... Tyler was sure she would wake up soon and put whatever she did in the soup.

Regan woke up fairly early the next moment, really just wanting to the sun rise again, though when she looked outside, it was already light out. She sighed in defeat and went to go and get changed. She didn't mind waking up and wept, but there were times, like this one, where she really just wanted to go back to sleep and relax for a bit. She was just a bit tired still... but she had to make everybody food. You couldn't be strong without food... any they needed strength out here to survive. She trudged out he cabin soon enough and made her way down towards the little cooking area.

Tyler glanced up. "Uh oh... what's wrong?" He asked worriedly. She looked... tired. "Did you not have a good night?" Tyler asked, backing up from the pot of water that had just started To boil. He tipped his head and studied Regan, trying to figure out if there was anything other than exhaustion.

Regan glanced up at him with a bit of a smile. A tired smile, but a smile all the same. "No, nothing up," she told him quietly before giving a little stretch. "You've got everything together for me?" She asked happily, flashing him yet another smile. She seemed to be a lot... happier now. More upbeat. Maybe it was because she was actually getting on with someone - she had a friend. It was nice. (I figured that out lol. Thanks for telling me, though) - Tyler tipped his head. He still looked a little worried... but not as much. "Yes... or at least I tried to. I don't know beans about actually cooking something." Tyler snorted. "Including beans... don't know how to cook those either." He smiled, attempting to make a small joke to lighten his mood.

Regan chuckled at him. "I mean... beans aren't hard," she mused to him before starting to boil the water, then adding things to the pot... pretty much anything she could find. She definitely looked better from having decent food, though... her eyes were brighter, and you could barely see her ribs anymore. Actually, when she didn't look like a skeleton she was quite... you might say pretty. Her liveliness was more attractive than her rudeness, too.

Tyler smiled, backing up and sitting on a bench as he waited. He couldn't really help right now, so he waited for Regan to be done cooking so he could dish up the food. Tyler glanced around the campsite, hearing groans, moans, and yawns as everybody started waking up. He felt much better all the time... he wasn't injured, and the muscle his body had been eating for food was now built back up. He actually looked normal... or above normal again, because that's where Tyler liked to rest. Strong enough to drag a full grown buck back home by himself. Strong enough to haul his heavier body up a tree. Little things like those made a big difference with Tyler, so he appreciated being able to do them.

Once everything had done, she poured two bowls for both her and Tyler. She didn't want the two of them to be left out, especially now that they were getting better. Tyler did look a fair bit better now... he didn't look ill, and he'd bulked out just a tiny bit. It really was wonderful to see. He looked happy, and she wanted to keep him looking that way for as long as she could. He didn't have a good past... so the happier she could make him, well then the better. She was better too... a lot more full, lively. She could do with putting a tiny bit more weight on... but for now, this was good.
