"Do it, then. You won't because you grabbed the paper which declares her queen, meaning you're trying to prove something, and to do so, you need her alive, don't you think? So honestly, you should be the one thinking this through." He noted, grabbing a dagger. |

The man chuckled and whistled sharply before charging at Gale, face a smirk. Another man darted down the hall, toward Kayla's room. He ducked inside, finding the queen still distressed as he grabbed a dagger and pinned her against the wall by her throat. She tried crying out to Gale, for any help at all. The guards didn't come, all outside as the man pressed the dagger against where she clutched her lower abdomen |

Gale tackled the man easily, disarming him and aiming a dagger at his throat. "Good try, already saw the other sprint by, i'll deal with him once you're dealt with." |

"Please, please, no!" Kayla screamed, the man grinning as he slowly began twisting the tip of the knife against her abdomen, blood trickling faater and faster down the blade. Kayla screamed again ~
The other man fought Gale but his sword toppled out of his hands |

Gale slit the man's throat, leaving him gasping for his last breaths as he walked to the man in the bedroom, yanking him off of Kayla before pinning him, blade pressed against skin. "Move and i'll make sure you wished you hadn't." |

Kayla's knees buckled as she sobbed and clutched her wound. "Hey, man, you understand. Boss promises money, I do job and get the money." The man said, cocky smirk on his face |

"Your boss is writhing in the doorway to my study with his throat slit while gasping for his last breaths, so i'd lose the concept of payment at this point." He said simply, pressing his boot down onto his chest to keep him pinned as he stood. |

Kayla took gasping breaths, every movement hurting. Between now and earlier she was exhausted and sore and in pain and scared. "Dude, I get the money anyways..." The guy said, grabbing at any excuse to get let go as he fought against Gale's boot |

"Man you're stupid, can't get payed if you died on the mission." He noted, pressing his boot to the man's stomach. "Maybe if you shut up and answer some questions, I won't keep moving my boot and you can still have kids, sound like a plan?" |
