Reason I don't have a picky pad is I'm not sure it's a good enough replacement? Like it gets the picking but it doesn't have the same sensations, if that makes sense.

it's taken *years* of therapy work for me to figure out things that make it easier to deal with, but it never goes away and there are days (weeks, sometimes) when it's a long string of "downward" progress. but that's life, we just gotta be able to live with ourselves at the end of the day and try again tomorrow

Dakota mucked out Secret's stall before going inside and grabbing a couple extra sets of clothes. She sighed, knowing Nate wouldn't be back for a while and decided to ride Secret in the outdoor arena a bit, just to get the kinks out of the mare's legs. Dakota nearly had to dodge a flying hoof as she mindlessly curried a ticklish spot. "Sorry, girl" She said softly to the horse. She finished grooming and tacking up before hopping on and jogging Secret around the edge of the arena. She practiced her tight-turn routine before untacking and grooming Secret out once more. She already missed Nate, and was hopeful to see him soon as she had been at her house for nearly 4 hours
