Gladius,

Agreed! I wish I had figured out in high school what I wanted to do for my career. I feel like a lot of people figure out what they want to be/do in that time. And here I am at 24 still not exactly knowing what I want to do xD
I'm not thinking I want to stay in the business of selling signs forever haha

brooke - honestly comm college is a great way to do that. just get your core classes out of the way, and even if you don't end up going for a 4 year maybe a 2-year degree is more your swing. gives you time to figure it out. you definitely don't have to have it planned out for the next 30 years when you're still in high school

and you get college credit. I basically knocked out all my core requirements before going to my 4 year college in the 2-3 years I took 2-3 classes at the college, so I got to do more electives

brooke - the good thing about community college is it's a lot more like homeschooling, you show up 2-3 times a week, learn the material, go home and do homework in between classes, live your life, get graded and move on haha it's a loooot less rigid than public school

Gladius,

I was all over the place lol. Started private, then public, switched to a different private school, went to a public middle school for about almost 2 years, then finally to homeschooling/long distance school.

I've thought about community college here and there, but I feel like it would be rough to get back into the swing of school stuff lol. I've been out of school for so long.

As long as the parents or whoever puts in the effort to actually teach them cool, I just can’t help but think of the lazier ones who don’t give a crap you know.

Sage stayed where he was for quite some time, though when he woke up again, he figured he should probably get up and find something to eat since it was already close to noon. He yawned and stretched before for ing himself up and out. He found a rabbit soon enough and killed it, dragging it along back to camp so they would have something to eat soon. He found some blackberries along the way, and picked some of those as well.

Quinn shifted and woke as Sage left. She blinked, yawning, just seeing him disappearing into the brush. Quinn stood and stretched, walking outside the cave to the river. She quickly built back up the fire so they could cook whatever Sage brought back

Sage ambled back into the campsite with the bloody rabbit in his jaws. He normally hunted like a wolf....it was just easier to pounce and break an animal's neck in his mouth like a wolf than try and hit it with a dagger. He could hunt with a dagger fine, he just preferred this. He scampered up to Quinn and dropped the meal next to her ...it was quite a plump rabbit, but wasn't young or anything, which he thought the girl would appreciate. It was past reproductive age from what he could tell.

Quinn was very please when she saw the older rabbit. "Thanks for hunting." She smiled, skinning it quickly and starting to roast it over the fire. She leaned back against a stump with a sigh. Her infection was gone, and her cheek was now just a bruise. She felt so much better, almost normal. Better than normal. Quinn was healthy, she was in nature, she was with Sahara, and she was with Sage. What more could she ask for?

Sage nodded and licked the blood off his lips before settling down next to Quinn as she skinned it. He sort of just watched her, the knowing movements a bit calming, since he was still a bit tense from his nightmare earlier. That was part of the reason he'd gotten up to hunt ...it had come back and he needed to get his mind off of it. So he worked. She just gave him a sense of calm for some reason, and he felt safe with her. His vision was still a bit blurry, which had made hunting a bit difficult, so he liked to stick by her.

Quinn finished cooking the rabbit, turning it over one more time before handing some to Sage, "Hope it tastes good." She smiled, eating a small bit. She looked at Sage thoughtfully, turning her gaze to Sahara as her horse nickered. "Sure Sahara, that's definitely going to happen." Quinn muttered to her horse, obvious sarcasm lathering her voice.

Sage thought the rabbit was delicious, he really did. Whatever the girl had done, it had worked, and worked well. He definitely couldn't cook this well. He cocked his head slightly at Quinn's comment. "What'd she say," he hummed lazily. He was curious, but she knew she didn't have to tell him.

Quinn rolled her eyes. "She said you look calm, maybe now Sam good time to kiss you again. Inside ,y brain I told her she would think any time is a good time." Quinn wrinkled her nose, glaring at the mare. Sahara snorted. "Sahara says any time is a good time, so I was right. Sahara, how bout you and Chaos hang out together. Stop teasing us and shoo." Quinn snickered, looking at her horse who flicked her tail in Quinn's face... but walked over to Chaos.

Sage hummed lightly and chuckled at the horse's comment. "Well, I can't say I wasn't pleased that I got a kiss instead of, say, a knee in the gut," he noted with amusement. He chuckled again when the mare wandered off towards Chaos, who pricked his ears and greeted the mare happily before going back to grazing. Sage sighed happily and rested his head back on the ground, curled up in his usual wolf-like position.

Quinn looked surprised. "Oh.. ha so for the good idea! I'll try that next time!" She teased, a bright smile on her face. She looked at Sahara and Chaos in amusement, who seemed to be having a horse conversation. Quinn then glanced back at Sage. It made her happy to know he was comfortable and happy. She wondered if she ever would kiss him again...
