I'm a big believer in putting hot sauce on things to stop animal chewing things. When I first got my dog, she just needed one taste of hot sauced boot to realize she made a mistake lol. Never chewed another shoe after that.

i get the chewing on everthing, i have a husky mix and when we first got him we didnt know he was abused / had severe seperation anxiety, he chewed a huge hole in the wall lol much better now though!!

Lol, wish my puppy was the same way when it comes to training. It took her at least 2 - 3 weeks to pick up on sit.
She learned how to sit in around 2 days but she wouldn't sit without seeing a treat but we finally got her there.

It can just be so frustrating because he is SO smart. You just need to convince him what you want is what he wants then he picks it up in 5 minutes. He seriously learned sit and down in no time flat
