Anya rummaged around for a little while until she finally pulled out two or three boxes. They were very plain, the only colour on them being the blue paint that the game names had written on them with. The girl smiled softly before opening one if the wooden boxes, making sure all the parts to everything were there before putting the lid back on and picking the small pile up. Anya wandered out of her room, a dim smile plastered on her face as she wandered down the halls. Obviously, the little games wouldn't stop the need to do something for the two, but hopefully they could kill some time. Anya reached the door, giving a soft few taps on the bottom of the door before wandering in. "I found some old games out, I thought you guys mi.." she paused once she placed the boxed on the other bed and turned around, lowering her voice when she saw that Lizzie was fast asleep. She glanced from the girl to Sage, a stupidly large grin forming on her cheeks when she noticed he was up again.

Sage grinned back and waved tiredly. "Don't worry she's a deep sleeper. Nothing's gonna wake this one up once she's out," he laughed lightly. It was true, waking Lizzie up took more effort than it would take to carry her around with him. He was also amused by the fact that Anya seemed so happy to see him awake. He'd barely been unconscious. "You know, I thought coughing up blood would have been worse," he joked. Ok, so it was worse than anything else he had ever been through, but Anya didn't need to know that. Besides, even half dead he kept his dry, sarcastic humor. That was one part of him that would never go away.

Anya let a soft chuckle escape her, grateful to see that he was a little more himself. "Hm, I dunno, coughing up your lungs seems like a walk in the park." She hummed quietly. The girl glanced around the room, of which had been covered in pools of blood and god knows what else. Her brows furrowed as she glanced to the boy, trying to keep her focus on Sage. "Been having fun scaring us? We thought we were going ti loose you." She noted, trying to put on a playful smile. There was still a chance he could slip away again... though, Anya didn't want to mention what they both knew, not if it would only make them worry further.

Sage grinned back at her sheepishly. "Well, it keeps life interesting at least," he chuckled. He struggled to sit up quietly, thankful that Lizzie was such a deep sleeper...she needed to sleep. "I'll be alright. Probably." He shrugged and grinned crookedly. "Although I still don't even know what the doctor who's saved my life twice now even looks or sounds like," he chuckled, amused at the thought of that. Then he sobered up, drowning slightly. "Anya, if I do die...take care of Lizzie, alright? I know I'm asking a lot, but I don't trust anyone else..." He trailed off, knowing that it sounded really bad. But he had to get that off his chest. He knew Anya would do the best she could, even if he hadn't told her, but he felt better just saying it.

Anya furrowed her brows at him, but gave a nod. "Of course I will... you know I'll look out for her. But Sage, you're not going to die. In a few weeks you're going to be on your feet again and we're going to get you back out there." She murmured, taking her eyes off him and looking to her hands. Anya knew that might not be the case... but she could be hopeful for him. Of course, if he did go, she would do what she can for Lizzie. The girl would want for nothing, but that could never make up for her brother dying. Anya bit her lip nervously as she glanced back at him. "She adores you Sage. If anything happened to you, she would be a wreck. There'd be nothing I could do to fix that."

Sage sighed and looked over at Lizzie. "I know. And I don't plan on leaving her. But you know as well as I do that there's like a fifty percent chance I won't live to see the next day pretty much all the time," he pointed out calmly. He hated to put it that way, but it was true. He had been eating a bit more since they had the extra money...he usually let Lizzie eat before him so she had enough as often as possible. Even so, the type of work he did plus his overall lifestyle took it's toll. He didn't mind it all that much, but he was simply stating facts and he just wanted to know Lizzie would be looked after if something happened to him. She'd been sheltered from the very worst things, and he'd kept her out of the alleys, and he knew she likes Anya so she would listen to her.

Anya nodded slightly before flopping back on the other bed. She didn't like the subject, not at all, but she supposed it was good for Sage to have reassurance that the one person that be lived for would be taken care of. The girl took a soft breath before rolling onto her side so that she could see him, "You said you haven't seen the doctor yet? Well, the man that's been seeing to you is one of the best around. A good looking guy, though, he's on his last nerve coming back and fourth to see you." She murmured with a slightly more up beat tone, trying to get off the dim subject of him dying. "It's going to cost me my soul to get him to keep his mouth shut about me going out, so you'd better bloody live."

Sage shook his head and chuckled. "Well I'll have to take your word for it." He grinned and shrugged. "If he's treating people in the castle, he has to be good or he'd be booted out by now." He cocked his head slightly. "He has to be fitting for the princess," he murmured thoughtfully, wanting to see her reaction. He had his own ideas, but he also didn't want to assume that she was a royal. Although, she couldn't be much less if she knew the doctor like that, and knew the castle halls that well. Plus she had said she had her own room here.

Anya stared at him for a moment before nodding. There was no point in trying to hide anything from him now. She was a little worried that it'd freak him out, but really, they were already worrying about the situation they were in, so a little detail about her that seemed pretty obvious shouldn't make too much of a difference. "Hm... I'm sure the princess would rather not have to threaten the man to tend to her friends." She noted with a quiet chuckle. "Orders are orders, but I'm afraid I'm not taken quite as seriously as the King and Queen." She murmured with a thoughtful look on her face. "We're really quite lucky he's helping you at all."

Sages mouth turned upwards into a smile. "So I was right then," he murmured. "But you did what you had to with the doctor." He grinned cheekily. "Besides, I think he's warming up to me, don't you," he joked. He wasn't really surprised she was the princess...she had dropped clues. Most people wouldn't notice them, but he had trained himself to notice those things. The subtle things were always the hidden ones, and noticing them could save his life. He knew she had her reasons for hiding her identity, but he was glad she was being honest about it now. Maybe she would be even more comfortable around him after this, though she seemed to be comfortable anyway. She just wouldn't have to always think about hiding that fact.
