Mari hummed quietly to the boy, really just hoping he'd be alright soon... feeling better. He was right, and they'd find something suitable... the brighter stuff was normally more expensive anyway. They could just get whatever they could afford. She nodded and gave an excited grin when he asked if they were ready to go, and nodded lightly. "Yep! Ready," she chirped happily before yawning again and forcing herself out of bed. (Short, I'm out!)

(It's all good!) Sage nodded and then gave the girl a wide grin, holding his hands out to help her up off the bed. She didn't need it, but he wanted to anyway. He liked helping her and he didn't feel like he did very much, so if he could find a way to help her, even if she didn't need it, he'd do it. Besides, that was just nice. "Let's go then," he chirped, keeping one hand entwined with Maris as they walked.

Mari smiled when he offered her his hands and took them happily, then walked hand in hand with him as they left... she had the biggest grin on her face, too, which showed just how excited she was. "There's a cute little shoppe in the village... everything seems reasonably priced. We can look around there," she hummed out thoughtfully before smiling lightly at the boy. "Have you seen the place? It's cute. I was thinking we go to a little cafe later, too... just for a treat," she chirped lightly.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded when the girl mentioned the ship she wanted to look at. "Well, you know what you want to look for," he chuckled. "I don't really know many shops so go where you want," he hummed. He'd be glad no matter where they went, and if she thought it would be a good place to look, then of course they could go there. "That's fine with me," he hummed. "I've been paid for working at the barn so we have a bit extra," he chirped happily. A treat would be nice....they deserved a bit of spoiling themselves, he thought.

Mari nodded with a grin when the boy agreed to both her shop and suggestion with the cafe. They walked into the shop, and Maris's eyes eventually just fell straight onto a small pair of pink shoes. They were tiny, absolutely tiny, but the way she grinned and waved Sage over to look at them. "Look how cute these are," she chirped lightly to the boy. Of course, they were impractical, and she didn't think they'd fit any child, but they certainly were cute. Her eyes then fell on the most gorgeous pale green blanket... and a slight squeak escaped her as she went to go and explore the little shop.

Sage pattered over to the shoes when Mari pointed them out. They were kind of cute, he supposed, just because they were so small. By the time he'd hummed out an agreement, though, Mari had already moved on to other things in the shop. He sort of scrambled after her with an amused chuckle, letting her wander about the way she so pleased. He supposed she was a better shopper than him, but if he saw something he particularly liked, he drag her over to see it.

(I was thinking, it'd be nice to see Sage get some friends. Some people he can go out and do stuff with lmao - idk, it's up to you) Mari wandered the shop for a while and eventually picked up a nice little blanket with spots on it... it looked as though it'd make a nice bedding for the baby, considering it couldn't actually have a blanket for the first year or so. She looked to Sage and cocked her head. "Do you like this?" She asked with a cocked head, her eyes already searching about for something else. "And are we wanting pacifiers? The baby might not need it..." she trailed off a little bit before shaking her head. They didn't need to get that kind of thing, did they? Not yet, at least.

(Lol yeah maybe, we killed Luther off xD) Sage wandered around behind the girl, looking around with excitement, even if he wasn't bouncing around everywhere like Mari was. He nodded and gave her a thumbs up when she held up the blanket, more than happy with it. "That's perfect," he chirped. It would work no matter the gender of the baby. "They wouldn't be bad to get...but only like two or so. We don't need to over buy," he hummed. (We could do a time skip to where it's almost time for the baby to come too if u wanted after they ship)

(I was just thinking that, yeah! Poor Luther lmfao. Yep, we can totally do a skip) Mari nodded in agreement to the boy, smiling a little bit at her find. It was pretty cheap... cheap enough for them to afford. It was nice, too. She nodded to the boy's suggestion and went to grab two or so pacifiers, and looked around a little bit for some more bits and bobs, until she and Sage had found pretty much everything they needed. "Is there anything else?" She asked lightly before cocking her head to the boy... she'd gotten a fair through things, a hot water bottle, a little floppy blanket bear and some ceiling lights that spun around... it was very sweet.

(Loll yeah) Sage followed the girl around as she shopped, adding in a suggestion or two every now and then and whatnot. He hummed thoughtfully and glanced around when she asked if they needed anything else, before he shook his head. "I don't think so," he hummed. "I'll build the crib, so we don't need that, and we have the basics," he hummed. "We're ready to check out then?" They'd be spending a decent amount, yes, but they had enough, and it could have been much more expensive. They'd done well, he thought, and they had plenty left over for a treat and to save up for a house still.
