Mari looked up at the boy at his little tease before pouting a little bit. "Who told you that?" She asked with furrowed brows. "I think they're lying to you," she retorted in a playful manner, really all for the tease. She did enjoy everything they did... but she could tease the opposite if she really felt like it... they could mess around a little bit for now. "You'd be surprised how long I could go without you," she then added before sticking her tongue out and hugging a little bit closer to the boy, burying her nose into his neck.

Sage giggled slightly and hugged the girl close to him happily. "Really, because you couldn't even go without me while youre pregnant," he teased her back. "And I don't know how well I can lie to myself about that," he chirped happily. Then he yawned slightly and sighed. "How does an early night sound? That way we'll have energy tomorrow."

Mari gave a thoughtful hum to the boy. "That's just pregnancy hormones! They make me feel like a teenager again," she joked lightly before shaking her head a little bit. She did have a bit of a blush across her cheeks... nothing heavy, but it was certainly there. She found that kind of thing happened more often now... again, hormones again, but also because she did love Sage... and that definitely played a big part of things. "I dunno, guys like to lie to themselves from time to time," she joked lightly, though she knew full well Sage had nothing to lie about regarding this. "Yeah... an early night sounds good."

Sage chuckled lightly and pecked the girl on the cheek. "I might have to work at getting you pregnant more often if that's the response I get," he teased lightly. Then he chuckled. "You're not wrong," he hummed. "But I don't lie about who I love," he murmured sleepily, cuddling up to her before sighing and turning to take his medicine and nibble at a few crackers before curling back up into the girl and practice passing out as soon as he hit the bed.

Mari smiled slightly and gave an amused ha to the boy before curling into him a bit more, a light smile spread across her face... she couldn't help but feel her heart thump a beat or two harder... he really was the sweetest, even while their teasing. When he passed out on the bed, she chuckled softly and pecked his neck where he was laying, and whispered a soft goodnight before getting comfortable next to him, tangling their legs together and slipping her arm under his shirt once again. She didn't know where she'd picked that up from... but it was certainly something she liked, and she fell alseep fairly quickly afterwards.

Sage woke up groggily at first, which seemed to be usual...at least usual for the medicine. He closed his eyes again and just pressed himself into Mari until he felt more awake, and all the medicine had seemed to wear off. He sort of stayed like that anyway, drifting in and out of sleep, since it was warm and cozy in bed like this.

Mari slept through the night pretty soundly... in truth, she'd been sleeping pretty well. Some nights were rougher than others, but this was alright for the time being, and she really was quite comfortable. She was just dreading when she got bigger and struggled with well... everything. Hopefully, this baby wouldn't be too big. She woke up the next morning, just after Sage curled into her a bit more. She smiled a little bit before curling into him a bit tighter, her arms stretching around his back, her face nuzzling into his neck a little bit.

Sage felt a small smile drift over his face when the girl curled in more, and was content to sort of just stay like that for a while, until the medicine had worn off completely and he was a bit more awake. He definitely felt better today, and much better than two days ago. After a while if laying there, he sighed quietly and murmured "I have to get going soon," though he didn't exactly make a move to get up. He was excited to go shopping though, so he did want to get done what he needed to do and go spend the day with Mari.

Mari sighed softly when she heard the boys voice, and simply buried her nose further into his neck. "No, don't go..." she whispered tiredly. Of course, he had to get going sooner rather than later, but she just wanted to cuddle up for s bit longer. She was ever so sleepy, and you could hear that in her voice.... but she was waking up a little bit. Her hand closed around his shirt dad she shifted a little bit so that her head was resting on his shoulder. "The baby wants you to stay," she joked once she was s bit more awake. Of course, right now the child had no option on anything... but she could tease all the same.

Sage groaned slightly at Mari's teasing but squeezed her gently. "Youre the baby," he huffed right back, though of course he was content to lay here for a while longer. He couldn't have untangled himself from the girl even if he wanted to....she was rather strong and stubborn for someone who was still half asleep. But he certainly didn't mind staying in the cozy bed a while longer. Though, he did want to get things done at the barn so they could go shopping and have some fun looking at baby things.
