Iris checked her phone for the time and squeaked when she realized she needed to finish an essay and a take-home quiz before class tomorrow. She left her enjoyment of the snow behind and hurried back to her room, where she locked herself up for three hours and finished both the essay and the quiz. Exhausted from the work, Iris fell onto her bed and decided it would be a good idea to take a nap.

Caden slept for a few hours, waking up at midnight completely energized and ready to go---or at least. .. before he remembered what happened and also that it was. . . midnight. Whatever, good time for snack hunting. He grabbed his card and headed down to the 'living area' which was a bunch of dinged up couches arranged in a circle to get people to 'socialize' but was also the best place to have a hangover ball with your friends. The man walked to the vending machine and bought and arrangement of items, heading back to his room.

Iris woke up at 10:00 pm, made a quick snack to fill her angry stomach, and read a book for a few minutes before drifting off once again. She woke in the morning and began getting ready for her first class, English. She was prepared for it because of the meeting yesterday, and felt good about how it had gone. Her teacher even used her essay as an example of the "best" format for an English paper.

Caden spent the rest of the night studying, living off 5-Hour Energys and energy drinks, walking into calc like a zombie, barely functioning yet the information was locked in his mind. He sat down and pulled out his MacBook, waiting as his professor rambled for a moment before letting them begin.

Iris walked out of English and headed towards chemistry. She got out her phone and texted Caden, hoping he was all right. -How's it going? Are you hanging in there?- Iris had thirty minutes before chem started, so she stopped by the cafeteria and heated up water for a peppermint herbal tea. Peppermint was her favorite flavor, especially during the winter. It made her feel cozy and fresh.

Caden didn't see the text, already in the mindset of the final, no distractions. What. So. Ever. Phone was turned off, watch was left at his dorm, even his computer had notifications turned all the way off.

Iris made her tea and sipped it on the way to chemistry. She liked chem and was honestly doing well in it, but she knew the final for it was going to be rough. Which was why she had been cramming her notes in that class for the past month or so. The teacher confirmed when he said to the class, hands on his hips, "I'm wishing luck to all of you for your final. Actually, I take that back. Luck won't help you. Focusing and notes is what will help you. So hopefully--" here he shot a look at a trio of women who were whispering to each other in the back-- "You have been paying attention and writing down everything that I say." That made the ladies quiet down.

Caden clicked sumbit, stressing yet glad it was over with. Class ended and he walked out, heading straight down the hall for his class of chemistry. The professor wished them all luck, telling them to use their notes and start.

Iris finished her chemistry final and had a break for an hour. She thought she'd done pretty well, maybe gotten 90/100, but not her best. Hopefully still an A, at least.

By question twenty, Caden knew he was barely passing. Perhaps a C, no chance even a B. He finished and submitted it, class dismissing and the man walking to Corner 17, grabbing some lunch before heading to his last final of the day.
