She just shrugged. "I don't need anything," she muttered, her eyes dull.

"Baby..." He said again, worried. "Lorelei, please eat something or drink something...just please, is something wrong?" He asked, his voice trailing off and a tear rolling down his face. He had so much money but he had never felt this broken. He'd been to hell and back and never felt so...lonely

Lorelei shook her head. "Im okay," she muttered. She just was broken. Whatever those people had done to her, they'd scarred her so deeply she wasnt her anymore.

He cupped the sides of her face gently. "You...still want me, though, right?" He asked hesitantly.
| |

Lorelei nodded. "Of course," she replied. She was still not herself, but she still had her new fear, being alone. And of course she still loved him.

"You need to eat something, so please choose. Pasta? Tacos? Ice cream? Literally anything?" He asked, wanting her to eat so badly
| |

Lorelei shrugged. "I'm not hungry,"

"Lorelei, please" He begged
| |

"Fine," she gave in. She'd eat, but she didn't know what she wanted. Whatever he made was fine.

"Alfredo chicken work?" He asked, pecking her forehead
