"Hey, it's okay. I'm okay I promise, I swear on my soul, Marco. I promise to tell you if I'm not." She assured.

He nodded, keeping his eyes on the road.

"Hey. I'd tell you if I wasn't, I promise." She assured.

Marco nodded, glancing over at her and smiling just a smidge before turning down the dirt road signifying her property.

"I got you a gift." She stated. "I hope you like it. It's for being safe for this long, and your payment/reward for helping me around here." Edited at November 27, 2025 08:31 PM by Transformers Acres

"You did?" He asked, turning the ignition off and stepping out. "Y'know, didn't have to do that."

"I owe you, Marco. You do a lot of things around here for me, and ask nothing in return. It's the least I could do." She assured.

"I assure you, you keeping me safe here is all I ask, but, i'll accept it." He said with a chuckle.

Once home, she showed him his gift. It was a stunning American Paint stallion, a young three year old, gentle as could be, with the rare medicine hat pattern, which was black, but his whole body, aside from his pattern, was pure white, and he had striking blue eyes, and a cute pink muzzle.
"I got him for only 2,000. Comes from Strait From Texas, and Too Sexy For My Spot." She stated.

Marco's expression softened at the sight, brows creasing as he walked over and stroked the horse's face, looking back at Liliana. "Lil I don't. . . I don't know how to repay you, are you sure about giving him to me?" He asked, voice finally dropping from always cold toned and emotionless to somewhat warm.
