Morgan felt a small smile cross her face when she saw his soft smile, glad to see his lips curved up. "And I'm giving you permission to do it," she murmured softly. Really, she wouldn't have known either way if he was reading her mind, but at least... it was a way he could understand what she was thinking, everything she couldn't quite say out loud.

Caleb just listened to her mind, not paying much attention to her verbal voice

Morgan just sat quietly, trying to clear her thoughts so he could listen to her. She just rested her hand in his hair, and rested her forehead gently against his, her eyes closed. I love him. We're gonna get though this, him and me, her mind was racing, trying desperately not to let her thoughts over lapped. Nothing can change that. The way I feel about him won't change. She was almost chanting to herself by now, trying to say things she would never been able to say out loud. He's so brave. So clever. He'll manage, no matter what.

Caleb listened with a small smile. "I love you" He said softly

Morgan gave a small hum when he smiled. Good. He was happy, at least for now. She hated seeing him so worried about things... she meant what she'd said. They were too young for all this. She rested her fingers gently on his cheek. "I love you more," she whispered.

"Somehow..." He said, his voice trailing off in thought. After a while, Caleb moved deeper into the bed and curled up. He reached toward Morgan in invitation for her to come to him

Morgan rolled her eyes at his comment. She loved him, more than anything. She told him that. She didn't need to explain to him why or how or what they could do about it. When I'm invited her in, though, she smiled and wandered in to slip her arms back around her, pulling the covered up a little bit more. "Do you need anything?" She asked him gently.

"Probably a shower tomorrow" he admitted quietly, kissing her head. "But not tonight." He added after a moment of assessing his soreness

Morgan nodded softly. It probably would be good to get him cleaned up a little, especially if his trial would be starting soon. She soon slipped off to sleep, though, not really shifting until later the next morning. She sighed and slipped out of bed, going to grab Caleb his meds before wandering back up the stairs and popping them down just next to him. "Caleb babe," she murmured softly. "My dad has a bit of a plan... he's going to talk to some lawyers for you - they owe him a favour - and they're going to try and come talk to you at some point. I have a feeling you may have to go to court, but we'll all be there with you," she promised him gently.

Caleb nodded and took the meds, smiling softly at her even though it was a mostly fake-it-until-you-make-it kind of smile. "Thanks, love." He said softly, taking her hand
