Malcolm let out a small sigh and nodded before saying, "I suppose that is true." He then walked into his room and softly closed the door without another word to Camron. Mal then sat on his bed and stared at the wall, unsure of what to do with what had just happened minutes before. Using his good hand Mal reached up and rubbed his face as tears poked at his eyes again.

(Well that's not good. Hopefully you guys get them up and running right for testing.)

[Camron leaned lightly against the wall. He glanced around ready to stand up straight if someone walked by but otherwise leaned. He gave a light sigh as he thought about the day and the events. A large part of him began to feel bad for leaving Malcolm alone but he also didn't want to risk his job.]

(Wooo apparently my school lied about the opt out submission date- they said it was this friday (10th) but its acutally next friday (17th) and they lied so we wouldnt turn in last minute forms even though they are at the same time forcing us to print our forms- i dont know- so annoying-)

Malcolm stayed seated on his bed for a good while, thinking and trying to prevent a meltdown. After about 10 minutes, Malcolm was feeling a bit better and decided to try and take his mind off of everything. He slid off his bed and opened up his balcony. He then placed a chair out on the balcony and grabbed the book he had been ready. Mal then sat down in the chair and breathed in the fresh air and let out a sigh before opening the book.

(Oh my gosh. I would literally kill someone if they told me that because I suck at getting big forms and things done a head of time lol)

[Camron continued to stand guard. As he grew tired be began to question his decisions to become a royal guard. He grew to question if continuing the job was even the right call as he stood staring off blankly at a wall.]

(oh my goddd I got the form in an apparently my school just didn't tell parents there was an opt out of one of the state testing categories so my mom couldn't sign it. Like if it happens during the window I won't be called in to do it at least because I won't be arriving until before 1st period but still- not cool of my school-)

Malcolm sat out on the balcony and read his book as a breeze occasionally blew past him. He paused every now and again to turn the page or to watch some birds that had nests in the nearby trees. He loved to listen to the birds' singing and the soft sound of the wind in the leaves of the trees. It was almost captivating enough to make him forget the day's events.

[After a while Camron found himself growing distracted by his thoughts. He called for another guard to take his place before heading to his room and laying down blankly in his uniform.]

(updateee- school gave out three different state testing schedules-)

Malcolm was enjoying reading out on his balcony and breathing in the fresh air. He had calmed down a whole lot now and slightly wondered how Camron was doing. He liked the guard and enjoyed his company, which made him sad as he wasn't there right now.

(Like you have to go all three days or you get to pick one of the three?)

[He laid on the bed staring at the ceiling thinking about just everything. After a bit he got up and changed into more comfortable clothing before laying down again.]

(No like they made three schedules for testing week, one said advisory (when we are testing) ended at 10:55, another said it ended at 10:40, and the real one ends at 10:30)

After some time Malcolm had sat down his book and was just relaxing by breathing in the fresh air and letting the breeze blow around him. He worked on clearing his head of any memories of earlier that day as he made it focus on the sound of bird songs and leaves rustiling in the breeze. He looked towards the sun and sighed, slightly annoyed, as he saw it was only about noon.

[Cameron laid. He'd called in with a sudden illness. With the free time he just laid in bed questioning if he should leave already considering the chaos of the job already. It was begining to drive him up the wall as he tried to decide how to approch the situation.]
