She nodded, looking like she was ready for bed again

The two eventually reached the castle, Gale slipping off to his study.

She watched him go as she got dressed in an uncomfortable gown she was nearly required to wear. On her way to the meeting room, she was swarmed with questions about the baby now that word had gotten around. "What's the name going to be? Boy or girl? Is it his? Can you tell us anything?" SHe was tired of it already. Once the meeting was over nearly three hours later, her head hurt from the yelling and arguements, her back hurt from sitting so long, and she was exhausted and hungry. She went to the bedroom, laying on the bed and accidentally falling asleep

Gale eventually came back, a few of the council members swarming him with questions. Eventually they surrounded him and blocked the way to his quarters. "Move before I rip your throats out!" He snapped, the members moving out of his way.

Kayla was asleep, bags under her eyes and gown still on as she lay on top of the covers

Gale went and pulled the covers over her, heading over to the balcony.

Gale overlooked the courtyard, watching the gardens get trimmed.
