Nick heard Damon and silently stood, walking out, gazing up at Damon. Nick was skinny now, cheeks hollow, just skin and bones, but his hair and his eyes were the same.

Damon looks him over before saying " are you not give this boy enough food or letting him get a break " before looking at nick

The girl from the front walks in, "Sir, we do whatever we can for Nick. We go out of our way to get Nick food and make sure he's not overworked," she explained. Nick just stared at Damon. Damon had obviously never worked in the service industry. He'd also obviously never been poor. Nick was surviving on the food his coworkers could get for him. He had to work whenever he could because he needed to pay rent for the shack that his landlord called a house. He was so weak and malnourished that he couldn't swim anymore, so now he couldn't do anything he loved to do. It was wake up, work, eat (if his coworkers could find him something), go home, go to bed.

Damon scuff and said " no hard enough look at him he skin to bone and here I think I give money to your guy to help pay for coworkers you boss is some joke " before looking at him then said " here take this get something to eat pay rent and do anything " as he hands over his black card

Nick shook his head, "Please leave us," he said softly to his coworkers. They all nodded and did so. "I don't want you're money, Damon," Nick said, his voice barely a whisper. "I won't take it," he said firmly. Damon was so rude now, so mean to innocent and normal people... no manners. No respect. Nick wondered how he ever loved this man...

Damon froze and said " how do you know my name " since he forgot everything after what happened in jail

| |

Nick squinted. "You dont remember me? After everything that happened, was I just not important to you?"
| |

Damon looks at him before everything flooded back in to his mind and then said "nick....." as he stood up from the desk and said " yes you were important to me no matter what "

"So what changed? Why are you so mean now?"
