Lorelei nodded. "Yeah..."

"My beautiful girl..." He said softly, just lounging with her. "Do you need anything?" He asked softly, pecking her lips gently and covering her with a fuzzy blanket

She shook her head. "Just you,"

Kai nodded

"I love you..." she whispered.

"Oh, baby, I love you too" He said softly, standing up. "I'm gonna run downstairs and grab some food. Would you like to come or stay? I could carry you if you'd like as well?"

Lorelei nodded. She didnt want to be left alone. "Its okay, I can walk," she said, getting up with him.

Kai nodded, wrapping his arm gently around her waist anyways. "If you ever need me, don't hesitate to tell me" He said softly, leading her to the kitchen. "What would you like, beautiful?"

"I dunno," she shrugged. It was like she wasn't even Lorelei anymore. Like the light that made her her had been stripped away from her.

Kai frowned slightly and walked over to her, placing his hands on her hips. "Baby..." He breathed, eyes searching hers. "What do you need? This isn't like you..." He said, voice breaking.
