After her phone call, Colette was in a proper bad mood, but she hugged Kai before letting him go so he could go to work. She got dressed as well considering she had things to do as well. She'd have to conduct her own business this morning and that evening if she wanted any chance of succeeding, but first she needed to go home to shower and change into fresh clothing.

Kai met up with his men in their usual HQ, talking over the target for the day. "He's not one known to show his face often, but when he does it'll be obvious it's him." He began, gesturing to a tv that showed the man and his 'stats' if you will. "He's based in Chcago right now and we're gonna need all hands on-deck for him. He's the leader there for the largest mafia in town. Pack up, boys, we're going hunting." Kai concluded, dialing Collette

Colette managed to get a lot done in a short amount of time, all things considered. She did indeed get things handled with her doctor and showered before dressing in a classy, elegant dress that showed her off but not too much. She was about to leave her house when Kai called. "Kai? What's up, love?" She answered, pulling on her heels again. Her keys could be heard jingling in the back ground as she grabbed them, but she didn't leave just yet since she wanted to be sure everything was okay first.

"I have a target in Chicago. Care to join me?" He asked, knowing there were plenty of potential investors there. "And you could have me all night...." He purred into his phone

Colette grinned hearing that, suddenly glad she hadn't gotten too ahead of herself. "I'd love to. It'll be nice to get away on 'business..'" she giggled, biting at her lip at the thought of having him all night. "As long as you know what you're getting yourself into~ cause I'll make good on having you all night.." she purred back, smirking to herself.

"I'll hold you to that, sweetheart. I have to go. Love you" He said quietly and rushed, a couple of his men approaching him with the news that everything was ready to go. The men walked away and Kai's father walked up to him, pistol menacingly in-hand. "Kai. Go. Now." He ordered with ice in his tone, Kai nodding and getting into his car. He revved the engine-a comfort to his bustling mind-and sped to his destination after telling Collette over the hpone once more

"Love you too, baby," she said back quickly, her heart jumping at the words before she ended the call and went to grab everything she'd need for their little trip. She then got into her car, the gentle purr of the engine soothing her mind as she tossed her bag into the passenger seat. She sent a quick and cryptic text to her father that she was going away on business for the night before going to the location that Kai had instructed her to go. Colette had entered her business mode, her demeanor confident and full of power once more as she got out of her car. She didn't know what to expect, but she had made sure to grab her pistol, which was strapped to her thigh, concealed by the dress she was wearing perfectly.

Kai arrived at the hotel he'd be staying at and left his car with the valet. He tipped him a large amount, silencing him from the request to not park near anyone else. The valet nodded and drove away to the parking garage, into a roped-off area. Kai checked into his room and texted the number to Collette. 307. He sent it and walked up, his bags being carried by another employee. He also tipped that man a handsome amount, silencing him froam any pestering questions. Kai put the keep out sign on the door and left it unlocked as he changed out of his suit and into sweatpants but no shirt.

Colette had just paid the valet to park her car in a similar area when she got the text from Kai. On my way up. She sent a text back before beginning to walk inside. She held her bag in the crook of her arm, preferring to carry it herself despite the assistance offered to her from many eager employees. She shooed them away politely before taking the elevator to the third floor to find room 307. When she got there, she saw the sign but didn't bother to knock. She had figured it would be unlocked, and it was, allowing her to walk right in. "Hello my love~" she purred as she shut the door behind herself, locking it this time before setting her bag down.

"There's my girl" He said softly, his voice slightly husky. He got up and walked over to her, placing his hands on her hips. "Now, baby.....I know I promised myself to you but you did say you'd get me investors....I'm thinking maybe a club tonight?" He murmured huskily in her ear.
